And Caiatl already knows Stasis, throws a Light blocker at him and just wrecks him, telling him contrary to what he believes about the Cabal Empire, power isn't strategy 👁👄👁

That's the problem with having Zavala as a leader. He's too predictable. Cayde-6 and Ikora tended to counter-balance his tendency to be overly rigid and predictable. But with Cayde dead and he and Ikora being on the outs with each other..... ....hes a very vulnerable target out on a limb by himself. To his credit, The Crow sees this and understands it. Osiris and Saladin are too set in their own ways to fully appreciate the danger. Osiris underestimates the devastating impact that the loss of Zavala would have on the City (Amanda is the only one who gives voice to this...she see him as a surrogate father of sorts)....and Saladin just sees it as a means to an end to justify going ham on the Cabal. But Saladin is worrying me more than even Zavala is. Something in his character is changing, and not for the better. Whether its the influence of the Darkness....or wanting revenge for the humliation of the Red War? Can't say.
