Anyone have an explanation for why in beyond light our armor had backpacks and radios on them other than for just pure atheistic purposes? It looks stupid it doesn’t make sense at all. Our ghost transmats our equipment from our ship we don’t need a damn backpack and our ghost also allows guardians to communicate so there’s no need for a radio. This is just a small example of how the armor in d2 looks weird and doesn’t even fit the universe.
Look at the classic gear in D1. Nothing in d2 even looks similar. In D2 titan arms are ridiculously large and blocky. Literally looks like the art style changed for no reason. What happened to having futuristic looking space suits with gritty armor plated pieces of gear that makes sense? Every new set seems overindulgent. I don’t think a guardian would wear the set we got this season lol. Go watch the first vi doc for destiny when they first revealed the game along with all the cool concept art. D2 doesn’t even look like the same game😂. All the gear looked futuristic while at the same time looking weathered and old. D2 all the gear looks random as hell and everything has a chrome like shine to it with no true style. This goes down all the way to the lighting in the game which is another problem I have. Way too much contrast. Everything is too dark and too bright at the same time. And the lighting system is so weird that my gun is completely blacked out in a shadow half the time. I love not being able to see my guns that’s dope. The lighting is just too strong. If there’s a blue light in a room in destiny, the whole room is blue. Am I crazy or does anyone get what I’m trying to say lmao

Do you remember the Titan armor 'Thagomizers' from D1? I think that and the airplane helmet designs from Prison of the Elders based on Fallen spider tanks was a gateway to the chunky chad look that titans got in D2. I keep hoping they'll either make NEW iron banner armor, or bring back the D1 IB designs. I'd also love to wear the Snoglare set, understated but elegant. Instead D2 Titan armor make me feel like a 40k spacemarine that was redesigned for ages 3 to 5 in bright Vanguard orange and issued in suits that look like poorly fitted plastic and foam action toys. Pls Bungie. Titan armor. And others....could be better. .....as far as dinos or monsters? Why not Jurassic Monsters? Or Monster Dinosaurs?..... ...if it has to be a monster, can it be more exciting than a cyclops with THICC fur legs? Could a get a Wendigo or something a bit more exotic? Oh....last thing. Since Anthem is basically dead, could you (Bungie) snag some of their shader and texture design artists or engineers? They did great at that at least. Alot of my current D2 shaders don't work well on various types of armor, or their 4 shade block seems to lie about what actually applies to the armor.
