Well done Bungie,
My posts are usually complaints, but this time I felt I needed to give some kudos.
The gun, the suspense and atmosphere, the mechanics, the sound design, the boss. All superb and by far my favorite mission in all of D1 or D2.
This mission took me back to the first time my guardian awoke in the cosmodrome all those years ago and forged ahead unarmed through the first few parts of the wall. That feeling of not know what was around the corner while hearing strange noises behind you sent chills down my spine.
My first encounter with the boss had me spooked. I aimed my trusty Anarchy at the big baddy and sent a round down range while he was obscured by the fog in the room. Only, the round sailed through him as he spookily teleported to mere feet from me. Not gonna lie, I jumped a little and may have even peed alittle, but man, oh man was that fun!
The gun is so amazing too! Not because it's OP, but because it makes me smile. When I earned it, I immediately loaded into a strike. The 2 other guardians with me had the gun as well and the whole time it sounded like a wild west shootout from some 1950s era movie. I couldn't stop laughing. The only other weapon to make me feel this way has been Anarchy. There is nothing like setting a trap and watching wave after wave of enemies sizzle away.
Bungie, whoever you have on the team that did this quest needs to do all of the work from here on out.

1 ResponderDid it today with a few randoms with no mic. It’s really good but I’m not a fan of the jumping crap. It’s always been my biggest weakness in Destiny. I always seem to choke. Just like in Harbinger on a few of those jumps I always have people waiting on me while I die 3 or 4 times. For that reason only is why I did that one once and this one once just to say I did. I don’t want to go back in to either one just for that aspect alone. I hate being that guy.
