When Bungie decided to appeal to the hardcore sweats of the game over the wider community this started Destiny’s downfall the real last straw was Bungie removing SBMM from the crucible .. This saw the sweats use control constantly to farm their KDA and get cheap kills aka stat padding because they constantly used stacks and just overpowered the casual players who were just trying to complete bounties or get a pinnacle drop..
Other streamers last season showed the sharp decline in the PVP player base as people left the game or left pvp .. Bungie market trials as activity for all the community but the same flawless sweat clans who ruin control crucible now farm the card for easy kills in early matches in trials on weekends to get tokens then reset card and keep farming..
By season 14 / 15 Destiny 2 will be dead .. Bungie need to bring back SBMM to pvp and target the sweats who are actively ruining game by farming card , token or kda ..
Bungie also need to go after the same mobs who purposely run cheats , exploits etc not just the DDOSers .. Yes they are on console and it is well known that mouse keyboarders on console as well and amongst many other things this has made pvp a very toxic environment and driven away players..
Statis is only the latest disaster to wreck pvp but SBMM needs to come back and put balance back into crucible they can just block stasis from pvp to fix that issue but the larger issue on balance , fairness and pvp surviving means Bungie need to think about wider community not just the elites or sweats ..

While I do feel sbmm needs to be brought to trials (that shiz was ridiculous, could barely get three wins) I completely disagree with public matches having sbmm. Crucible is way more fun now that you can just relax and use nonmeta weapons and still do okay. Sbmm just makes every game sweaty and filled with meta weapons and supers.

SBMM = 50/50 win/loss ratio. How’s anyone going flawless with only 3.5 wins per run?

Sbmm needs to be in competitive game modes absolutely. Not, however, in casual playlists.
Sbmm needs to be in competitive game modes absolutely. Not, however, in casual playlists.
It really doesn’t because that’s just backwards. If anyone can just play some games and get to Legend or go Flawless it totally devalues it. But that isn’t even the main reason. The main reason is it simply wouldn’t work. Imagine having SBMM in Comp and the 50/50 win/loss ratio that goes with SBMM. As soon as losses take away more points than a win earns your going to be stuck at that rank. That means no one makes it to Legend.

Editado por Bakteyo117: 1/6/2021 9:25:38 PMActually, survival has sbmm still FYI... also, it’s not backwards. Sbmm in competitive means each game is equally hard, therefore in order to progress you have to get better/switch up strategies.

SBMM is required to stop the top tier players farming easy kills

The majority of players are average players. I would much rather get slaughtered a couple games here and there and have fun for a few than to have every game be sweaty as heck; that’s not fun or relaxing. Cold War is a perfect example of how strong sbmm ruins a game.
-
But the basic fact is last season and now this season has just become a stomping ground for the sweats farming their personal KDR, the vast majority of the games are mercy after mercy and this is due to SBMM being removed . Stasis only highlights how toxic pvp has become.. The games are that unbalanced and top tier clans purposely stack games .. If SBMM was back it would keep these players separated from the casuals they farm.
-
I don’t know what “vast majority” you’re playing.. but most of my games are not mercy, they’re pretty balanced. It’s the most fun I’ve had in crucible.

Not in any of mine

100% The sweat ruin games / kill them, and then move on to the new thing and ruin / kill that game. I don't get why companies don't understand that the bad / ok players are the ones that bring in the money, and will leave a game if they just get turned into a fram
