I'm so -blam!-ing tired of everyone talking about top tree dawnblabe. Try using anything else in pvp, and it won't be as bad as you think. Bungie just once again overtuned the damn thing.
As for well, Titans have bubble, and Hunters have Shadow Shot. At the end of D1, all the classes were starting to become alike anyway.
If you really want a reason to play the other classes, look no further than the jump and class abilities. Hunter dodge and jump are probably some of the best feeling movement options where the warlock has a terrible glide (only top tree dawn has air dash, and sacrificing everything else just for that would be asinine). Titan Lift is like a complete inverse of glide, and every subclass has a node where you can shoulder charge.
Every aspect of the game has offers something more than just supers, which are something you have for 30 seconds or less, every few minutes, if you can get a consistent pace

Warlocks also have stasis. And nova bomb. Hell, i saw some good arc warlocks. About the supers, well do what bubble do but you dont need to leave to get the buff. And shadowshot can be just ignored if you have div. Or tractor cannon. Jump is not enough to make a class different or better. And, as a hunter, dodge is overated.

You're gonna really tell me that we should be heading to class specific roles? You wanna know how that worked out for hunter in D1? It worked out like shit.

Let me put it simply. If you're not in Well or Bubble.......are you worth taking on a raid run? Short answer. No. These are two of the most absurd supers in the game and frankly renders using other supers irrelevant. This is why I enjoyed 2 encounters of Deep stone crypt. I didn't have to use either super to enjoy myself. I could just use what I wanted to use. It felt fresh and I felt more free to play as I wanted to. Take Well and Bubble away and give us something new instead.

You clearly didn't play D1 then, because Titans were the support, warlocks were the Self Res, and hunters didn't have shit. Celestial Nighthawk golden gun was the closest they got, and it still was less useful than tethering

No, it's much worse. Supers never have been the judgment of dps in either D1 or D2. It's always been weapons. And if warlock becomes the support and provides damage boost, then there definitely won't be a reason to play hunter.
