You know what’s comical to all the people answering? They look from their perspective. Not the new person who may be in their first strike. Not the person who may be knocking out bounties. For a game that is about “community” the “community” can be (and are) a bunch of selfish asshats.

Game needs some fresh ideas on Strikes. When D1 was new, Strikes were my favorite activities after Raids. Nowadays, I can't even remember what Strikes are. All I do is run Bounties as end-game content that I've forgotten what Strikes are in this game. Bungo keeps themselves busy on Eververse and how to increase our ability to throw money at the screen. I also noticed recently that when Bungo makes a Video Game, it comes out as a Magic Card game! Bungie Logic!

Playlist strikes... really? That's what we need to fix? What? Just remove the stupid weekly reward I guess.

In my opinion, more strikes should be like the Festering Core, Arms Dealer, or Corrupted. The other strikes are a joke. I don't even have to try to get through a few of them in under 10 minutes solo... which is kinda crazy. Another thing is that killing enemies in strikes rewards nothing. I think they should put a point system in place that has T1, T2, and T3 rewards. But as of right now, I'm doing strikes to complete bounties in prep for Beyond Light. I have no incentive to take 15-20 minutes in a strike.

Had one last night where the bloke just went ahead and killed everything quite fast (I was impressed) and I just jung back because there's nothing for me to do. Not like I've got 150 solar kills bounty. I just let him finish the strike on his own and claimed the spoils at the end.

Strange, since D1 beta I think I've experienced this maybe 3 times, tops, just get it done and find a new lobby, not that hard lol

I returned to D2 last month after a Year break and yes, this is problematic. I doubt they will ever make a solo slider because they want their game modes to be populated and they do not want players to search for strike players for too long. But when you forgot (or are new and do it 1st time) about most strikes and want to experience them (like killing everything and looking a bit left and right), the Strike playlist is a no go. It's terrible to run after speed runners and get a "join allies" and be pushed forward or sometimes, you even see a wipe when the speed runner dies alone in a restricted zone although you were just running along an empty hallway only lol. I also think most of the time that I am the only player in D2 Universe who would like to get his bounties done without needing 5 strikes for them lol. I could imagine a slider where you can choose between speedruns and normal runs. Those who just wanna run them for the loot for completing 3 playlist strikes can rush through them. Those who enjoy strikes and/or want to get kills for bounties and want to play them, could run them. This would of course not work 100% but it might be a beginning.

There were ppl complaining about too many umbral engrams ffs. Too many shaders because they had to press a button. Too many weapons. Too many locations. Too many choices. Too many players. Absolutely amazing

I speed run to the end to farm tokens. If u want to load it alone currently change ur clock back 1hr and u will load in alone.

I am mixed on this one. I speed run strikes, because all I need is the loot from the strike. I don't need to get bogged down with adds and you get nothing for it but wasting ammo and time when you could be doing the next strike and doubling your loot in quick time. What do you gain from killing everything anyway? Every time I have done it I get jack $hit extra in the form of loot or prestige. There is no advantage to killing everything. If you want to kill things do Adventures, Patrols and Freelance planets. Strikes are fine the way they are.
