the token system isn't the problem; the fact that you drop resources but its RNG from an entirely random loot pool is. Just put it back to d1 where we just choose the category we want, or directly spend more resources to directly purchase the items we want.

they really -blam!-ed it up with this season too, making the world pool pull from every core activity. If i want a gambit gun, I'll go play gambit. I don't want 40 gnawing hungers in my inventory while using my tokens for to have a chance at getting a Long Shadow with a chance at all 4 perk slots/ a masterwork rolling how i want them. Keep activity loot pool separate and like you said, put it back to d1 loot choice.
