We found that doing the weapon frames that were originally assigned to that forge helped... volundur was MG,auto and sword. We also usually took them to maximum temper in case 3rd we were matched with needed key so not sure if that helped them drop.

also, use the armour consumables when you can, the armour can drop with the shaders.

Yep to all of that. Maximum T every single time. Machine Gun, Sword and Auto and still nothing.

Ouch you have my husband armoury luck... he lost or destroyed ba legs then we needed full armour to finish quest step.... we ran forges for almost 2 months before he got legs and we think it got them from darn weekly not the forge itself. Good luck and my sympathy.
