Would be fine with that. Would be still enough variety. 90% of the weapons haven't been used by most people anyway because of that. When 600rpm autos are meta barley no one plays any other autos same for 150rpm hc's and so on and on...yes there are exceptions but most people play the few most used weapons which is proven by statistics.

People use what’s good. That doesn’t excuse variety from any equation. Imagine a looter-shooter with only 7 archetypes of weapons. Awful. I wouldn’t be playing this if variety didn’t exist. And I can confidently say most of the player base wouldn’t either.

Awful for you maybe. Anyway with bungie most of the time the same stuff is good. So what for all the other crap barley ever someone touched. They change the meta way to less for that much weapons but on the other hand crying about a too big game. It's a fact that most loot is dismantled anyway. I don't need a variety of crap. I used in the average 20-25 weapons which covered everything perfectly and most people I know even used just as half as many. Opinions may vary but this is mine.

A preference is a good enough reason. My Nation Of Beasts is pretty solid and outgunned plenty of spare rations

Give me one good reason to use a 110, 180, or even 140 over a 150. They've all got a slower ttk, lower aim assist across the board, no movement speed boost, and the same or sometimes even less range than a 150.
