Personally I cant wait for the ViDoc for the next expansion.
Lots of clips of Bungie staff members looking thoughtful and pointing at things. Female staff members front and centre in their pyjamas. Lots of rapid cuts to armour so bad they don't dare let the camera linger on it. Explosions. Sparrows whizz by. Guns in close up. The clip of that guy no one remembers talking about how great its going to be. The interviews where they act like the last year didn't happen as they tell us how awesome their ideas are this time. And then, the pointless pre-order special items which are your reward for giving money to a studio who don't listen to a word you say and complain that making stuff is hard. The closing scene with Luke Smith who mutters something about having to be there as his eyes scream for a burger.
And .. fade.

Here's an idea: Next time Bungie releases a vidoc, can someone please edit in a laugh track into it. And after Luke Smith's inevitable piece to camera of meaningless blah blah edit in either: the Curb Your Enthusiasm or Seinfeld theme music. I'm not a video editor, otherwise I'd do myself. To bring mirth & joy to my fellow players.

Exactly Right
-
So how long have you been doing Contract Vidocs for Bungle now ?? :)
-
Man I wish I could make one. I would use basically the same visuals they do but with a different audio track .. "Here at Bungie we makes games for ourselves in between pointing at things and smiling at each other. We are all about making you, the player, feel like you are integral part of our world by constantly nerfing your abilities, removing your weapons and making the costs of master working your gear require you to sell your first born into slavery. We take your feedback into account before completely disregarding it to just go ahead and do what we want. Welcome to our new expansion. We've been flat out recycling an area you've seen before and adding in some of weapons from Destiny 1 .. because we like to keep things fresh. Our game director, Luke Smith, has been busy seeing what else he can scavenge from World of Warcraft to keep the franchise hitting new heights and our developers are under instruction to find fun new ways to throw an orb at something. Meanwhile Tess at Eververse has been busy finding the most overpriced tat to sell to you at prices that would make Activison blush. Please buy our fall expansion, we have listened and taken onboard your feedback, honest. *sound of laughing in the background* And .. Fade.

You're very good at this 😂

It's pretty bad that this has been the same thing for almost 6 years, that you could actually make this a Video for them and call it a day.
-
Don’t forget the tenth of second glimpse of a guardian carrying a gun that might be Hawkmoon, but probably isn’t, to enable content creators to make 20 minute videos breaking down each frame of a 100 millisecond ( which would only be 3 frames at 30fps! Hahaha!!!!) to summarise with “yep, might be hawkmoon, or might not be, stay safe guardians”.
-
You get it.
-
You forgot jumping in the air hip firing a rocket and three guardians running forward with a new shotgun.
-
Don’t forget whole fire team leaping 100 feet in the air rainy down fire WHILE AIMING DOWN SIGHTS! this drives me nuts. Would be hilarious and much less impressive if the just fell out of the air when they started shooting, like actually happens.
-
LOL - Clearly the people making those ViDocs / Clips have never played the game :)
-
-
It's a donut he's looking at.
-
Figures. I really hope he goes to his local donut shop and asks for a jelly donut and gets handed an iced one. Then when the asks for a jelly one again they give him a plain one. The when he demands a jelly one he gets told sorry, they were retired but hey, thanks for your feedback and never forget ..we're listening.

Gold! This right here is GOLD!
-
You should have said, but you can throw that half baked maple bar at my screen.
-
They are the masters of making turdburgers look appealing.
-
And most importantly: "We wanted to take the time with this, make sure its not half-baked"
-
And most importantly: "We wanted to take the time with this, make sure its not half-baked"
Lmao I wanted to say this!!!!

Don't forget the yearly- 'We are finally able to move the game in the direction that we have always envisioned' followed up by someone off camera stating- 'This truly marks the beginning of the direction we want to see Destiny move in'.
-
Cue laugh track.
-
That really is bang on the mark there, it’s an annual tradition at this stage. By next year they’ll be saying it over a turkey dinner to celebrate “finally destiny’s direction” Day.

They roll out this B.S. response at least once a year.
