In my opinion back in the day when Halo was being created the company had more passion, that wanting to create a game for the player base as well as themselves was there. At least that is what I felt playing all the Halo games up until Reach with this company. Unfortunately, I didn't get to play online as much until MCC came out when it came to the original Halo's.
When I found out that the company was creating Destiny and 343 was taking over Halo, I kept up with what info I could because of the experience I had with Halo that I was excited, I mean who wouldn't be if you were a Halo fan right? I enjoyed the first game for a while but I could see as many could and feel that there was just something not right going on. Of course, we all found things out we really didn't want to know over the next couple of years. Skipping past year 3 that was good in my opinion, Destiny 2 came out and I could see things went south.
This is part of why it went south.

This is also why it went south.

Well said. I played Halo on the Mac and had fun, but life intervened and gaming went to the back burner. Later I picked up an Xbox 360 to play with my Nephew and Niece and bought Halo Reach. Then wound up buying the rest of Halo too. When Destiny was announced I was definitely intrigued, played the beta and decide to buy an Xbox One for it. because I assumed what we played in the Beta was preview (not the whole damn Game!) It had it's ups and downs, but i had fun, met people and gamed like crazy. For Destiny 2, the bloom was off the Rose and Bungie was running low for creativity. This last year, the creativity Tank is empty and Seasons are simply a cash grab for minimal effort. I firmly believe that Bungle has pulled all their creative talent off Destiny and has moved them to their New IP. Any money they get now from Destiny is spent on Matter - not on Destiny. Besides the completely lackluster effort they put into this last 2 years, they never once mentioned Destiny 3, haven't mentioned new Game Engine (for faster Content updates, faster bug fixing and less kludgy tools) and there is zero mention of Regional Dedicated Host Servers.

Editado por Yosemite Sam: 5/27/2020 6:10:54 AMEdit: I played Reach a hell of a lot and had a blast. You had to play a lot because there were no cutting corners to reaching Inheritor that's for sure 😂 I also had a lot of fun with the forge world and created a few maps. Like you, I made a few friends through both games, and a few poured over to Destiny from Halo so things were different for me back then. Not many stuck around the first game after it released but running raids I made a few more online friends and it kept me around for a while. This game, I haven't even wanted to run any of the raids so that should say enough. Everything going on starts from the top, if that isn't working out well as you go down that vine neither will the rest. It's a chain reaction.

Exactly the same here. My favourite times in Halo Reach (beyond campaign which I though was amazing) were playing Big Team Battle, loading up a Falcon Chopper with 2 randoms on the side turrets, dodging missiles and laser and everything else while trying to get them oriented to shoot people and reigning death on everyone below us. Total Blast. I also made it to Inheritors rank. D1 I raided with Friends and Randoms a lot. Tuesdays I ran Nightfall, then Vog, then Crota, swapped characters and repeated. Wednesdays I did my Third Character and then helped people get things done like Quest weapons and other stuff. Despite droughts and such, I had friends to play with and activities to do. D2, the story became weaker with each iteration, the raids became overly complicated mechanics wise for Newbs and Bungle made it nearly impossible to Complete it without 5+ people all working perfectly together (Deaths with Revive Tokens suck) and I lost all my Friends (and Clans) multiple times. Bungle is no longer putting the effort in they did in D1.
