O...k So clearly you don't understand, so let me explain this to you. Power creep doesn't exist right now, it was never stated that it does, so gg on fabricating that nonsense. They want to AVOID power creep. Judging by your post, I'm going to go ahead and guess you don't know how to grasp information properly, so I'll put this as simple as I can. Without sunsetting: 1.You have your guns now 2. Bungie want you to be interested in their latest gear, so it has to be stronger than what you have 3. You get new gear 4. Bungie release more gear down the line they want you to chase so they make it even stronger 5. You get that gear. 6. Bungie release even more gear and make it even more powerful to incentivise player to chase it 7. We get to a point where we kill things by looking at them. that is powercreep, that is what they want to avoid, they can not start making gear more powerful without it eventually being sunset, because then they would have to make everything more powerful than the last. Sunsetting is going to do wonders for this game. Instead of making up theories in your own head, learn to fully ingest information.
