the year 1 stuff is still there though... I keep getting Rattler sidearms as an example... they can't equip mods and masterworking them costs a different kind of fortune. No one uses them! why keep those? Even Midnight Coup is a year 1 fixed roll. I don't mind keeping the raid but why not updating midnight coup and year 1 raid weapons to have random rolls and have equipable mods slots? They are useless and take up space. Love running leviathan... it is still fun but everytime I get a weapon it is dismantled for shards :(

Why make more of the same and not bring in something new? Food for thought.

  • I'd wager it's an issue related to the games shoddy and badly constructed engine maybe. But if they are able to pull content out which they have, look at sundial. Then it's not a far cry to remove levi and give us something bigger and better.

  • Even Warmind could be good again. 3 same weapons from escalation protocol... with random rolls and equipable mods. Also, there are 7 bosses in EP if I'm not mistaken... why not Add 3 more weapons? A 600 rpm kinetic auto rifle with seraph rounds. A suros rapid-fire sidearm (Arc) with again seraph rounds. A bow with seraph arrows. Last week random drops for every one of them from the boss. Not enough weapons with seraph rounds... I thought they were going to implement them into the seraph weapons from worthy but NOPE!

  • "3 same weapons from escalation protocol... with random rolls and equipable mods." I wanna point this line out to you and re iterate something I say a lot. If we're getting refreshes / new items the old has to go. Maintain the game but replacing things should come with the mindset that things need to be different. Random rolls and equipping mods doesn't solve the profuse bleeding to an already deep enough wound to Bungie right now. Personally with the seraph stuff I expected the Valkyrie to come in and run on a similar vein to swords. Energy based for it's melee slam (requiring ammo to be in the mag otherwise it's broken) and then it's usually attack. Would be nice to have a new weapon archetype of sorts. But taking my own point into account. The Valkyrie would be old made new. It's a way of working a tied down system into taking it wherever you like. Things could be good again sure. For small bursts of a month maybe 2 at most. But Destiny 2 needs a serious take on it now. These passed few seasons from Shadowkeep have been build ups and returns to old content with new (ish) things to do in there. It's time for us to end the curse in the dreaming city / hunt down and confront Savathun, plan our defense against the looming Pyramids.
