Continue to kill Guardians in the future? Aside from the whole “Iron Lords vs SIVA” thing, when has Rasputin killed Guardians?

Rasputin slaughtered fireteams when Zavala sent them to try to establish communication with him. That is why Zavala doesn't like or really trust Rasputin.
-
Oh that. Idk when that was, but it sounds like pre-D2. Of course, let’s not forget that Rasputin never really understood Guardians to begin with, so he wasn’t sure he could trust us either. But now he does, and despite his past mistakes and regrets, he wants to fight for humanity.
-
Zavala mentions at the end of the SABER2 D1 strike that he sent guardians to negotiate with Rasputin in the past, but the bodies were found scattered across the cosmodrone.
-
Really? I'm more convinced than ever that Rasputin is a ticking time bomb that needs to be dealt with after what we get what we need from him. I'm sure he's not a murderous AI anymore because cheesy story telling dictates he will remain on our side. I hope they don't take the heroic warmind path because I'd much rather see him put down for all he's done.
-
I mean, despite all that he’s done, it’s been made clear that he wants to change. Also it would be real petty to get rid of the most powerful weapon of the Golden Age because of its past mistakes. Not to mention the only one capable of stopping the Almighty’s crash course, and definitely a useful ally in the fight against the Darkness, even if he wasn’t able to defeat the darkness last time.
-
Let's hope he ends up a better ally against the darkness than he was the first time when he let billions die to save himself. By keeping him around after the almighty there is a risk of Rasputin attacking the Traveler.

Editado por OneTrueMandalor: 5/24/2020 5:53:33 PMBecause you know...even with all his power in the Golden Age, none of his attacks did anything to the Darkness. And he never attacked the Traveler. If he can’t handle fighting the Darkness then there’s no reason to believe he’d have any chance of stopping the Traveler from leaving. Not that the Traveler would leave. It made its choice.

I was talking more as revenge for stealing Felwinter or out of fear of its potential.
