Do Bungie realise what they're gonna have to do to keep the game alive after that? You have all these activities that will basically mean nothing unless they get updated. .Vanguard strikes: Why go into it if all the weapons are irrelevant. . Crucible: Same as above. . Gambit: Same as above. . Reckoning: Same as above. . Black Armory forges: Specific way of grinding for certain weapons, now pointless. . Menagerie: One of the best pieces of content in the game, left for dead. .Most old raids: While yes, Last Wish and Garden of Salvation will be kept relevant as far as we know, that means that of the seven raids we have in this game, only two have a reason to be played. .All the moon weapons: Feels like we just got them recently and we're now losing them. .All the forsaken world drops: All drops (eg. Dreaming City, Tangled shore weapons etc.) now pointless. All activities on the Dreaming City are now pointless (Blind well, ascendant challenges, etc.). .Weapons from Gunsmith: Makes this vendor useless now, which will happen along with most vendors now. .All Pinnacle and Ritual weapons: These quests will become long grindy quests that nobody will want to complete, because regardless of how good they are, they're obselete in future content. This includes weapons such as Not Forgotten and Recluse, weapons that people have worked hard for. I just thought I would try and give some people some perspective on how much content we would really be losing unless Bungie updates all of these activities. If Bungie doesn't, half the game will become completely irrelevant. I get power creep, and how it's extremely difficult to create better weapons every release, but I feel like the sudden loss of eight SEASONS worth is just too much for the game to handle. In my opinion, Bungie should have gradually introduced the sunsetting instead of suddenly introducing it and destroying so much of the game.
