Sbmm isn't the problem bro, it's the lack of players in pvp.
Classic mix with cbmm is just as shite.

Yeah every game my connection is either fine butnthe lobby lags like hell anyway in everyone else's favor or my connection dips and I lag in everyone else's favor. I literally can't play a fair game right now and I can't even see anyone else's connections to tell where the lag is coming from because by the say I'm not allowed anymore. So I get to play games where I get smacked by a sentinel through 16 walls across the map with an R1 and it's fair.
-
Yeah, the last few classic matches for me were laggier that the other playlist. It has to be lack of players or too many playlists. Rumble is the best playlist if you want a decent connection.
-
Rumble for me isn't any more fun cause it's all unbroken's and flawless players for days :(((
-
Its because casuals are sick of playing sweetie players. That is part of the reason.
Sbmm isn't the problem bro, it's the lack of players in pvp. Classic mix with cbmm is just as shite.
Classic mix still has SBMM. It literally has team balancing or Lobby Balancing which by definition is a form of SBMM.
-
Team balancing is in both playlists, both cbmm and sbmm.
Team balancing is in both playlists, both cbmm and sbmm.
Yes we know. But that is still a form of SBMM. Team A gets the better players even in CBMM. Team B gets the worst of them. According to our True Skill ratings Team A gets 1,3,5,7,9,11 Team B gets 2,4,6,8,10,12 What you don’t see at first is you don’t know the disparity between the Best player(#1) and the second best (#2). Then that system in itself isn’t even. Team A will usually always have a better collective skill ratting. (That does NOT always mean Team A will win) But it does put the matches in their favor automatically. Team A doesn’t get the best and the worst player. If it has to have Team balancing it should go Team A -1,4,6,8,10,12 Team B -2,3,5,7,9,11 That is more balanced than what we have now. It’s a joke how they have it set up now.
-
The system is a joke. It basically drops in a couple of players with questionable team mates and tells them to carry. It's especially like this in comp. You get dropped into a game where your team waste lives by pushing alone, etc over and over rather than Lear ing from their mistakes and you have to clutch every round. But because the skill rating of team A is 1500 and team B is about 1800 it's balanced cause the best player on team A skill rating is say 800 alone while all of team B are about 500 each or something. The game just sees individual numbers and squishes them together regardless of the fact that this means 1 player is being forced to play for their whole team.
-
But do you know how the system balances the 2 teams, I mean which criteria does it use ? I know for sure it's not based on elo, and it's not based on kd or kda ratings, so how does it define worst to best ?

Editado por Animal: 4/27/2020 7:04:25 PMYou can check the teams Elo on destiny tracker. It’s pretty clear how it “balances” the teams in both playlists.
-
But the game does not balance teams using elo mate.
-
MTashed did a video on it awhile back. Just go take a look at it please. Might change your mind.
-
I look at my stats every day on destiny tracker and I can 100% say for sure that elo isn't the factor used or at least it isn't the only one used.

and client hosted games. dedicated servers can help. but nooooooooooooooo why even take pvp seriously in that scenario?
-
Right? Why do anything like Trials, etc if Bungie aren't even going to take anything seriously?
-
Editado por Cosmic Owl: 4/27/2020 11:18:56 AMDedicated servers might or might not be better. More likely some people would have great performance all the time and some would have worse performance all the time. The real benefit to dedicated servers would be less cheating as they could move more of the game server side. But so long as the CBMM sucks, you could still get matched with people with all kinds of latency and they could still have terrible hit detection. What you really need is a bigger PvP base and something like Warzone where it tells you the ping range it’s searching for matches in so you can just drop the search if it goes too high.

Yeah, that's true too.
