One of my favorite things about Destiny 1 was the hype around a new expansion and seeing what awesome new Future War Cult weapons and armor Bungie had created for us. From Hunter helmets, to exotic class items, to cluster rockets, Faction gear was some of the best in the game. Choosing and repping your Faction instilled the same amount of pride, and incited the same debates over who is best as choosing your Guardian class did. Now our Faction leaders sit idly in the Tower, unable for us to interact with. There’s an entire generation of New Light Guardians who don’t even realize they are there, or what they stand for. I can’t be the only one who misses my Faction. For half of Destiny 2’s lifespan Bungie has been silent regarding this piece of core game content. Every Season I pray for an update, and each Seasonal Roadmap just makes me more and more worried that they are a pice of this universe that’s never coming back. dmg04, cozmo23, deeJ_BNG, we miss our Factions!
