Smoke. While I am a novice to the art of smoking, I am a master at eating foods that have been smoked. The right smoke can almost eliminate the need for spices, but I do like just the tiniest pinches of salt & plenty of pepper.

If I want to taste the actual food I'm eating then just salt(this really only applies to meat). Chipotle Chili Powder is a favorite of mine tho. I like the spicy smokey kick it can give food. A little goes a long way

4 RespostasEditado por Partisan: 1/24/2020 6:11:12 PMSesame oil is straight magic. Here are some random things I do to make my boring meals a little better: - Oyster sauce to make generic Asian dishes more generically Asian. I drop a couple globs on stuff like fried rice or my world-famous frozen green beans, and it gives them that salty/fishy/umami base that you can't get from like soy sauce. - Hot chocolate mix in chili gives it some sweetness, but the main thing is that the chocolate deepens the flavor, like a very lame mole sauce. - I season/dress my veggies for sandwiches as if they were a salad. I plan, if I can, no bland strands of lettuce in sand... wich. It's more or less what a deli would do, squirting oil and vinegar and such. - Garnish will make any sad, meal-prepped, microwaved, work lunch better. I bring chopped green onions or cilantro or whatever else in a baggie and toss them on my 3rd straight tupperware of You Made This On Sunday And You're In Too Deep To Quit Now to really liven it up.

Cracked Pepper. I absolutely love that stuff. It is situational though, but still very good.

Cilantro. It ruins everything it touches.

Herbs in general improve most recipes. I particularly like cilantro, dill, basil, rosemary and lemongrass. I also love grated lemon or orange rind in recipes. Really adds a nice tang.

I like to mix garlic powder, cajun seasoning, black pepper, and seasoning salt into my hamburger before cooking it. Everyone, always enjoys my greasy burgers. Unhealthy as shit though! As for a singe ingredient, I don't really have one.
