If you're expecting every exotic to have a unique quest like those, you're going to be disappointed, especially with Bungie being on their own.

Even some Fallen at Twilight G would have been something as opposed to nothing. Just dialogue (cringy dialogue at that) The fact that it's a road mapped item/event makes it even flatter. I play Destiny to shoot. If I want to listen to something clever & funny, I have Douglas Adams audio books. Not angry. Disappointed. And concerned about future content. With the bounty-centric nature of the game, and this "quest" as it calls itself, my enjoyment is bottoming out.

Take a break from the game then. No problem with it. Play something else in the meantime and think things over. If you still don't like how the game is going, stay away and speak with your wallet. Give Bungie your feedback and have fun doing something else.

You play Destiny to shoot. Then -blam!-ing shoot and ignore everything else. Wanna bake and deliver cookies? No? -blam!- you, just shoot. I play Destiny to play dress up and read all the stories, I don't play shooter games just stratagy games & RPGs, but Destiny is going to make me shoot so I'll -blam!-ing shoot.
