With seasonal armor changing every 12 weeks now, it makes the previous set useless since you can't slot the new seasonal mods. This is a load of bs if I ever saw. Don't waste your time using expensive materials to upgrade your gear. Bungie needs to make these rare resources rain down on us with this crap of a deal they pulled on us. First it was acquire several sets with differents stats. Then with a high stat. Then with the right affinity. Now add that to every season. My vault space would like a word with you bungie.......
Sorry, but this game just isn't getting better and better. It's an absolute joke. Oh and the seasonal rewards could have had their stat levels fixed instead of dropping these low stats on us. I mean 46? Really? So far no increase in pinnacles, no increase to prisms, cores or ascendants either. But hey, lets just nerf planetary mats and glimmer from chests.

Agree, I only masterwork my exotic armour (helmet, gauntlets, armour piece and leg armour) as these will be around for sometime. You can only equip one exotic. I wonder if I will get an exotic cloak one day like Destiny one. Some exotics have a huge buff to their totals. Masterwork items drop from doing Dungeons, so you don’t need to spend anything.
-
Your best is to use only lw or gos gear because those are good for 3 season
-
Yeah, I really only masterwork things in really rare cases, usually because I want the extra mod slots. I guess the extra stat points could matter too if your build is off by 2-3 points on an important stat. Other than that I dont really ever level things up beyond 7 or 8

3 RespostasHave you tried master working an exotic ?, all my armour I'm currently wearing is master worked amd I'm at 98 discipline, 28 resilience and 48 mobility all I need is to masterwork my gloves (getaway artist from the collections since none of this loot drops for me) and they want THREE , 3 , cat , ACENDENT SHARDS if you where to buy them do you know how much that would cost ?????? 10 enhancement cores for 1 enhancement prism and 10 enhancement prisms for 1 ascendant shard .....that's 300 enhancement cores !!!!!!!!THATS F/U/C/K/I/N/G INSANE BUNGIE !!!!! And they only drop from 980 night falls and dismantling masterworked gear does not give then back ????? That's insane you know how hard it is to get 300 enhancement cores ???????30 enhancement prisms????I just did 6 950 nightfalls(which using the lfg was hell to do spent almost equal times sat in orbit waiting for people as I did playing the strikes maybe add matchmaking but require 950 power???? ) and only got 5 enhancement prisms this is an unreal amount of grinding, PLEASE FIX THE ECONOMY it's worse than 1940s Germany cores = Marks basically

6 RespostasI seem to recall there were three long typo ridden walls of garbage from the failed throw money at the screen journo. The tl/dr of those was 1. Bungo has no clue what they want Destiny to be. 2. Expect less content going forward. 3. Expect more grind going forward. 4. Expect more MTs for the dress shop going forward. We've all been told (and we have been able to see for ourseleves by Bungo's actions) what this pathetic excuse for a game is.

But with all 5 Pieces at level 6-8 you can have more then enough room for builds.

13 RespostasYep. The grind for good stats and the cost of masterworking aren't worth it. Armor 2.0 is worse than what we had before.
-
1 ResponderIt’s not a waste of time if you’re masterworking proper rolls. It’s a +12 per armor piece so it is significant. With that said the cost is absurd and there isn’t a way around it. They should make banshee extra bounties drop a core besides XP. I was disappointed when I went to him and saw the extra bounties were only XP.
-
When I first saw this post I wasn't sure what the issue was, but when I realized that my armor, which I liked and had masterworked would not accept the new mods.... Probably my fault, I should have been paying more attention and I would not have bothered. I am not changing my armor. I'll apologize in advance to anyone who gets stuck in a fireteam with me a sees I do not have the "proper" seasonal mods on my gear. And yes, the new gear dropping at 46 was just as bad as the solstice armor dropping with crappy stats after grinding to get it because it would carry over to 2.0.
-
you can honestly ignore a lot of the hardcore grinds because you'll barely have time to enjoy the benefits same with the battle passes it really comes down to identifying the rewards you truly think are worthwhile even more so for players that play a bunch of other games simultaneously, where destiny has to compete with other fun games for your time

2 Respostas"Oh and the seasonal rewards could have had their stat levels fixed instead of dropping these low stats on us. I mean 46? Really?" -Atreuss At level 36 of the season pass you are given your first piece of curated 60+ point gear. In total you are given an entire set with two 64 point pieces & two 66 point armor pieces. But they are curated so if you do not like what Bungie thinks is good you are SoL. Example: hunter set masterworked with out mods provides 62/62/38/68/39/51. To little recovery and way to much mobility for me.

Editado por VETERAN1775: 12/19/2019 4:21:22 AMI agree. I wish the mod slot was universal. We work really Hard to get the armor pieces we want.
-
We've seen Bungie's cards. Their plan is to do minimal work on the game each season but make sure there's plenty of Eververse stuff for people to spend money on (why you would want to buy any of that I don't know but apparently lots of players do).
-
it is a bad system IF you can't decide which stat you are gonna focus on it. For me i will only using 1 sets masterwork each season for PVE, 1 set for PVP, and 1 set for raid if there is a new raid. last season i do believe Bungie did a mistake for gave us 50-55 total base score for tier 1 activities. I will only grind for Iron banner sets every seasons since it constantly give us a good total score.

13 RespostasEditado por Cinderchar: 12/13/2019 1:05:42 PMAt least they have been consistent in the regard that MWing armor has been worthless since Vanilla. I didn't expect it to be any better when they announced 2.0 because Bungie is too afraid to lean into an actual RPG/MMO where builds matter. Separate PvP if you have to, but this half in half out shit is just lame.
-
I was excited about farming for high stat gear, but what is the point when they are essentially useless for the next season. By the time you get a decent stat roll armour full set, the season is over.
-
Grinding for anything in this game is a huge waste of time
-
Agreed the affinity is just ridiculous. Can’t a homie just come home and pvp and chill...noooo he has to spend hrs finding armor with high stats the right affinity just to use a specific mod.
-
4 RespostasMusic, gunplay, art, is always top notch. Economy and investment however, are severely lacking n it's one fail after another. I'm now totally ignoring armour, stats, investment, bcoz it's total garbage. I did a full season doing every gunsmith bounty daily, for nothing. I did 3 master Nightfalls n got 0 ascendent shards, so just gave up. I've gone from an avid daily player and fan, to someone who struggles to stay focused when I play bcoz all I see is low effort pointless timesinks n I ask myself why im even bothering.
-
I to have made a post about this the day the season dropped and while it doesn't have as many upvotes as your post the majority there has the same feeling as they do here. Not happy.
-
Hate to say but D2 May have gotten a bit long in the tooth, it can be fixed but a full refresh might be in order.
-
2 RespostasAll the armor including exotic gear should just come with an extra universal slot for seasonal mods and raid mods that we can earn.
-
2 RespostasI agree. I had assumed that all the seasonal mods would slot on Shadowkeep armor until this season started. What a joke! I spent a lot of time and effort master working last season's Iron Banner armor only to discover I can't slot this season's mods. It's still too early to tell if that will really matter anyway, but I don't feel any incentive to start from scratch again, particularly with 46 level armor drops. Why bother since they'll be obsolete in a couple of months. I was OK with the idea of seasonal mods disappearing, but requiring a new set of armor each season in order to use the seasonal mods is absurd. It costs: 850 enhancement cores 2,825 planet mats 1,200,000 glimmer to fully masterwork a piece of armor. At roughly 90 days per season and 4 pieces of armor (figuring one exotic) that's about 38 cores per day if you want to have a full set. Of course you'll get there just as the season ends so you'll need to start again. Either you forgo masterworking armor or ignore the seasonal mods altogether. Kind of a no win situation.
-
There's no need to Masterwork the armour, I still run around on Yr 1 armour on hunter n titan and its no issue.
-
Big bump.
