Kentucky's Governor lost the election and is refusing to concede. Says he wants them to recanvas. The scariest part is it could be Kentucky's Republican controlled legislature who decides who the winner is. Stealing the election right out in the open.

Stivers pointed to Section 90 of the Kentucky state Constitution, which says: "Contested elections for Governor and Lieutenant Governor shall be determined by both Houses of the General Assembly, according to such regulations as may be established by law."

2 RespostasWhy has Kentucky's gubernatorial election been such big news outside the state? Is it just the recount thing? I was thinking my perception was warped since I live in Kentucky, but now you're talking about it too.

17 RespostasRecanvassing is just recounting the ballots. Bevin has to go to court to get a recount. Every candidate has a right to invoke the laws in their state. Even if the election results arent in doubt. So before you accuse anyone of stealing elections, allow the process to work through. If it goes to Kentucky's congress they will follow the law.
