i went from 1800 comp to 1600 and its mainly cus im solo and im being put against teams... id already be at 2100 if i could play rumble comp but that dosent exist... i think their is something in place that if i win 2 games in a row the game puts me in a losing game. and resets my 2 hours of work... my movment is kinda trash right now but im losing the motivation to play

I wish they do make it to where solos can’t match with “stacked” teams so you kids can finally see that you are the problem. I doubt it would happen though.

1 ResponderIf you solo que dont play past dinnertime. After six its nothing but sweaty tryhards.

14 RespostasI got DDOS’d from 1800 down to 1500 this morning. I’m also banned for “leaving matches”. And then my forum post got locked for trying to address the issue. HA! I honestly will never play comp again once I get the pinnacle weapons. It’s a mess.

5 RespostasWin 2 streak in Comp Put the controller down, step away from Comp & go back the next day (early in the morning, before all the sweats crawl out of their pits to heat up some poptarts) Reboot router Try again ... Win 2 streak - walk away Lose 2 streak = defo walk away

I have a system in place with my friends if we do comp if you lose do a quick play after words. It help calm the nerves.

7 RespostasI joined a 4-stack yesterday and we beat the first two 4- stacks we came across. Then we matched against solos and 2-stacks. We got destroyed. Solos can beat a 4-stack, it’s not that hard

1 ResponderWorst part of solo play is teammates leaving. So many games where 1 or 2 leave. Awesome really.
-
2 RespostasWait till you find out that due to the nature of Destiny 2's peer-to-peer networking, your IP address is exposed to everyone in the match, every time you play Comp (or indeed, any activity in Destiny 1 and 2 that involves other players), which makes it very easy for them to lag switch, drophack, or indeed, DDoS you. https://www.pcgamer.com/the-strange-science-of-destiny-2s-uniquely-complicated-netcode/

Weekends are the worse.

Over a game? Pathetic.
-
Just accept the losses and don't try to play your way out of them. Stop and take a break because the game has no problems with putting you on hell of a losing streak until you turn it off. If you can make it to 1800 solo then you can make it to 2100. If you aren't at the top of your team when you lose then you shouldn't try again for a few hours or the rest of the day.

Solos can kill teams. You might just not be good.

Mad cos bad

Editado por COMBATICUS: 7/28/2019 6:32:19 PMAs a solo player for pvp, I gotta admit, it was hell getting to fabled. And apparently if you have 2 or more loss in a row you'll lose even more points on your next loss. I had to lfg for 1 person once or twice just to have a backup player with me. But rest I solo'd all the way to fabled 3, now I'm fabled 2 again because of my team leaving and all the LoW and erentils that's dominating comp and pvp in general. I mean I'm getting 1 shot from half way across the map with erentils. But the only thing I can recommend you, is play to just play. Of course give it your best. But dont aim for fabled, I know sounds kinda stupid. But I just started to play to just play and do my best. Little did I know by end I was only 1 or 2 matches away from fabled. There is another thing you can do. Its abit of a longer grind but it works, I suggested it to a friend while took him 2 to 3 weeks but he at least got it. So you play at least 3 games, after that only play once or twice during the week. Then the minute you start losing, stop playing wait for the weekly reset and get those free points for doing 3 comp matches. And repeat again, do 3 or so matches following week, second you start losing stop and wait for following week again. Because doing 3 matches a week give you bonus points on reset. You'll take slightly longer depending on your win streak for those 3 to 5 games, but at least you'll progress towards your goal

Positive vibes is how I got to solo fabled

2 RespostasCompetitive rumble would be significantly more toxic than regular comp, I don't think many people realize that. Plus, you're on an app/site with a fireteam finder, you can put something like "need help reaching fabled." If you don't want to speak to anyone, adding "no mic" is rather simple.

I suggest unless your on a big win streak after 2 losses whether in succession or not take a break and do something else play another game, read a book, draw (that's a me thing but still). Dont let the game break you is what I'm saying I stopped playing comp after I got my guns. I understand the solo que issue its tough but remember break time cool your head think of what you can do to change something and come back to it.

You win some, you lose some.

let your momentum decide. its like gambling, if youre on a hotstreak, roll w it. if it feels like snake eyes, bow out and chill somewhere else for abit. just my [redacted]

I mean if your movement is trash that's a big factor

Patience is the key. So is math. I don’t understand the lack of patience. You don’t have to get this in 1 sitting or in 1 week. You play a minimum of 3 games. Try to win 2. Wait for the reset, profit. If you get on a streak play until a loss, stop, wait for the reset bonus points. (I have a 5 streak this season and an 8 streak last season according to my triumphs). Did this strategy every week solo. Got Luna and Recluse last season and I’ll have mountaintop this reset. So, well before the season is over. This makes it easier to figure out: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/b14ag4/season_6_glory_points_calculator/

Dude! Last season I went from 1850 to 900 in one session. It was absurd how bad my rng with teammates was. At one point I’m screaming “ILL GO TOZERO BUNGIE! Is that what you want?” So yeah, I kinda did lose my mind. Ended that session with a six win streak before losing.

5 RespostasEditado por Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 7/28/2019 1:28:55 PMI’m about to be a detriment my team for 25 matches, which means I’m going to hinder or ruin 75 players glory, in my pursuit for Redrix. I’m 0/2 so far. I’m sure all the players I’m matched with really appreciate these kinds of “quests.” It’s going to be a “fun” day.

Oops, that sucks. How is that SOLO thing working out for you?

Went from 1200 to 800 yesterday. Crap happens, it’s part of the grind.
