1 ResponderThing is those pinnacle pvp weapons are also very good in pvp. Best of both worlds my dude
-
No. What annoys me is.... 1. The pve weapon’s aren’t as good. 2. The pve content is so repetitive in design that two short-range weapons are the best boss-killers in the game. 3. Pinnacle pvp weapons exist at all.
-
It’s understandable that the “best” PvE weapons are pinnacle PvP weapons, because weapons designed to kill more efficiently are always gonna become meta. The real issue is that Bungo has (for the most part) picked terrible weapon/weapon archetypes for the pinnacle PvE weapons. The fact that Bungo wasted a pinnacle PvE weapon on a Scout Rifle is outright ridiculous. Note: The same could be said for a Bow in Gambit. In the end, if the next pinnacle PvE weapon isn’t one of the more efficient PvE weapons augmented by a great perk, then the status quo will remain the same.

3 RespostasI just wish the raid exotics matched up to the PvP pinnacles but no it’s fine it isn’t like there aren’t other weapons you can use that come close to their damage/utility

1 ResponderEditado por PropaneAccessories (Adept): 7/24/2019 12:23:25 AMAnd top tier pvp weapons are mostly available in just pve what’s your point

4 RespostasEditado por Born Mnemonic: 7/24/2019 12:07:30 AMLuna/NF are poor PvE weapons (basically any hand cannon is better) Redrix is a poor PvE weapon (most pulses are as good or better) Revoker is a poor PvE weapon MT is literally only good because of spike nades which IMO will likely see a nerf.. when any old 150 rpm GL with spikes out damages basically every exotic power weapon... yikes.. (also lets not forget that or Orewings maul and Militias birthright can both get spike grenades and are the exact same damage/ROF as mountaintop) And then there’s recluse. Which is hands down the best Add clearing weapon in game. But there isn’t really any way to make a pinnacle SMG without a damage increasing perk... it had to be better than stuff like bug out bag... And too be fair recluse isn’t exactly the hardest thing to get... wendigo is a harder grind for me

6 RespostasWhich PvP pinnacle weapons are better than which PvE weapons?
-
They’re pinnacle PvP weapons. They’re designed to kill things faster in PvP so usually that translates to killing things fast in PvE. The same doesn’t apply for PvE pinnacles though.
-
just use crimson, you won't die.

4 RespostasOh I dunno about that one chief. Recluse is good, but I get way more versatility and utility out of running Outbreak as my Primary. Mountaintop is a great boss DPS gun, but Loaded Question deals with adds more efficiently whilst still boasting respectable DPS, especially from a Luna Well. Swarm of the Raven, whilst not a PvP Pinnacle, may be top dog for Boss DPS again, but Outrageous Fortune can also perform well enough to achieve one-phases. Maybe not as fast as Swarm, but it'll still do the job. Dont get so hung up on what the youtubers are using. There is a wealth of powerful guns in the game, always has been. For example, Prospector has been an amazing burst damage weapon from day 1. Seriously. I clocked it way back in Vanilla D2. Spike Grenades may be in vogue right now, but I wouldnt be at all surprised if Bungie put them to bed with a nerf.

Editado por The Hermit IX: 7/24/2019 12:12:04 AMI dunno. It’s a brilliant weapon and I’m glad I got mine. I use it all the time on all 3 toons. If I’m not using a fusion, recluse is in my secondary slot. PVE pinnacles aren’t destroying in PVP but other PVE weapons are. Black Armory and Menagerie weapons are killing plenty of guardians in the crucible. How many hammerheads do you see per match? It’s a great weapon so let’s not complain.
-
As a PvE player, I find it annoying that I have to PvP to get decent gear.
-
6 RespostasWhile Mountaintop and Recluse are very likely best in class for their weapon types in PvE, I don’t really think they’re necessary for anything in PvE. There are viable alternatives out there, so nobody should get hung up on not having them or people in their fireteam not having them
-
I hate PvP .. But I grinded comp for recluse and lunas .. You want the gun go and get it
-
No. It must just be you.
-
I use a blast furnace (pve forge) Last dance (vanguard weapon) And a wardcliff/truth (random drop, pve quest) They work for me like no other, and I used them towards pvp pinnacles
-
18 RespostasYeah. The pvp pinnacle weapons should have perks that only work in pvp.
-
It's difficult for bungie to properly evaluate a guns effectiveness when they clearly only test it in the mode it's being released in. This is just lazy development and I can't see it changing goijg forward. Ex: beloved is useless in PvE and obtained from PvE but really good in pvp, yet we got revoker as the pinnacle sniper which (if it's even useful anywhere) is probably better off in PvE.
-
7 RespostasWell most pve weapons pinnacles are good in pvp
-
4 RespostasThose weapons should be earn able in PVE too
