Exact same teams with one player swapped between teams
-
1 ResponderI matched a game earlier which was 6 hunters with recluse or lunas howl and dustrocks. Then my team of 6 average Joe's witch basic weapons. No hunters. Guess how that game went.

I love when they "break up teams" in Mayhem. Like... Is leaving a game where everyone is running around with Blade Barrage only to put us into another game where everyone is running around with Blade barrage really gonna be a "more balanced game?" 🤔

3 Respostas

Exact same teams with one player swapped between teams

Usually we're breaking up those teams, translates to: "We're gonna trade out your best player for their worst player, and then have a rematch".

11 RespostasI am surprised by how often teams get broken up like that. I don't think Destiny needs SBMM to the point where all 12 players are on the same level, but it does need it to the point of splitting up the higher and lower skilled players across the teams more evenly. Games should not end like this (especially if it's all solo queue players): Team A: Player 1 - 2.57 34 kills Player 2 - 1.83 25 kills Player 3 - 2.33 21 kills Player 4 - 1.75 18 kills Player 5 - 1.13 10 kills Player 6 - .80 7 kills Team B: Player 1 - 1.73 18 kills Player 2 - .85 7 kills Player 3 - .50 6 kills Player 4 - .33 6 kills Player 5 - .27 3 kills Player 6 - .25 3 kills

I always say. If there is a need to split up teams. Then your matchmaking is wrong.

It's not really a big deal in quickplay. It does suck majorly getting whooped in a comp match just to go against the same team again the very next match. I don't care about quickplay match making. It doesn't really matter. In comp, every match matters. When you're clearly nowhere near the level of the other team, you should not be playing them again immediately after. Bungie does need to look into that. I do find it funny that I'm always on the bad side of that. If I smash the opposing team, I never see them again. But those games where I lose Countdown by a score of 6-1, the game is like, "wanna try them again on Survival?" Um, no, I'll pass.

1 ResponderYa, especially funny after losing with 20-150 to a 6 man stack. Matchmaking is a joke, not a funny one.
-
Editado por heat5360: 7/12/2019 1:55:34 AMits happening a lot to me today. against a six stack so no changes.

4 RespostasWhy can’t the winning team just stay together and match against another winning team same for losers. Or am I being stupid?
-
Or when it moves the people with the best kdr to the same teams and then they get constant power plays in Iron Banner till it gets called. LoL I love when that happens in my favor.
-
LOL or when theres is two 3 stacks in the queue and everyone else is solo so it puts the only 2 groups that have an element of communication together and the solos make up the second team.
I have seen this happen so many times
-
3 Respostasblock people after matches. you'll never see them again.
-
Shhhhhhh

Lose a match by 70 to 150. Game "breaks up the teams". Removes the bad player on the enemy team and keeps the dude with 40 kills.

4 RespostasThis mechanic has never made any sense to me. Here's how that logic must go. 1. Bungo-tron 5000 uses its state of the art matchmaking algorithms to find the best match and team balance for you and your team. 2. One team stomps the other into dust. 3. Instead of allowing players to leave of their own free will and rebalancing the teams using the REAL K/D data it just collected about how these specific players interact, Bungo-tron 5000 instead decides it would rather just reroll the dice again using the same broken matchmaking algorithms which created this mess in the first place. Solid logic.

9 RespostasThat's on Bungie for not having Regional Dedicated Host Servers. Peer to Peer with a falling population and CBMM means they largely match you with the local population of people near you. So if few people are playing when you're playing, well you see the same gamer tags over and over and over. It sucks...

lol just dont get rolled so badly then

the only ppl in the world on at that time. lol not
