From multiple teams trying to complete Crown of sorrow for the 24h emblem only 1 team from console beat it.. just more proof that some things are just too Difficult on console when you don't have Lazer aim. Bungie you guys really have to address this, in some way, it's already bad enough that console gets pretty much excluded from World's first, as is due to PC advantages. It's truly disappointing...
What makes it even worse is that many that I know have spent HOURS, Weeks before the raid came out to "Prep" for a chance at the emblem not World's first cause they know it won't happen. just to have it be a waste of time. As for me I will no longer be trying to prep for a raid again, knowing it will be a waste.
Edit: 1
Wanted to say thank you! All for the feedback all of you have great valid points.
--I was just trying to say that when PC is the only platform finishing a raid on day 1 and Console are having way more difficulty, something needs to be said about it. And yes their are still a lot of great players on console. Soo that's not a valid reason for why 99% of PC is completing it. While the 1% still struggling.
Edit:2
For those who agree their should be 2 separate races.
Up vote or comment with 2 Races!!
1 for PC
1 for Console.

3 RespostasPC doesn't have mouthbreathers, that's a console exclusive.
-
1 ResponderWho cares? Play on the console you enjoy and where your friends are. Stop worrying about other consoles
-
Most of the tip-top Raiders migrated to PC as soon as they could anyway. If I was a "serious business" gamer (i.e spent most of my time and money on gaming) I'd probably be on PC too. This Raid will become a cakewalk like all the others have. No worries.

5 RespostasAlways makes me laugh when i see how little recoil the guns have on PC. They are firing the recluse at scout rifle ranges lol
-
21 RespostasThe thing is though... Recoil isn't why you get a worlds first. Especially when managing recoil on console is pretty easy. Correlation ≠ causation. PC has lower recoil, but it's not easier to beat a raid because of it, most targets are so big that it doesn't make a difference. PC now gets most worlds first because that's where most of the best players went. For reasons of their own
-
Two races doesn’t make much sense because it’s about being the “world’s first”. You can’t really have two without the other being completely worthless.
-
3 RespostasBungie is supposed to be announcing cross save today. The leak says Xbox and PC, but PS4 is not known yet. If PS4 is included, I'm switching.
-
1 ResponderI know this sounds silly, but I almost got it done first day on xbox Problem was the people I lfg'd with for the first attempt all got off early, and the second attempt with a different group didn't end well as they weren't as good as my friend and I
-
4 RespostasEh. The aim isn't really be big advantage they have. It's the movement capabilities and framerate that actually allows PC to take Destiny to a whole new level. They can do everything faster and move faster than all of us. That's the real advantage. Don't get me wrong; PC recoil and whatnot really helps. But that alone doesn't get you to world's first. Best players are there and are taking full advantage of the system's capabilities.
-
Well of course the PC version will be better because consoles are just optimized for basic performance. The devs should have made the game run at 60 frames per second at least on the PS4 pro. Console never catch up to PC.
-
1 Responder2 races 1 for PC and 1 for console would actually make sense and that's just not the bungie way
-
You can have two separate races and honestly it’s a good idea, but you’ll always know that unless you truly get worlds first it’s just an empty title.
-
5 RespostasWell here's the thing. You're on a console. That's like someone driving a for fiesta yelling at a man driving a ferrari "That's not fair".

3 RespostasEditado por Nuclearpath: 6/6/2019 11:56:27 AMHonestly I agree that console is at a disadvantage and personally think the races should be separated, but I don't agree with a lot of other things here. For example, that "lazer aim" isn't something that comes naturally. Playing on a mouse and keyboard is far less intuitive than playing controller. How do I know this? Well it just so happens I played D1 through its whole life and spent most of the first year before Warmind released playing on console. The first time I picked up a controller it was like clockwork, heck it basically tries to guide you directly to your targets. A lot of the times this does cause an issue, but in the long run it makes the game a lot easier to play, at least from my personal experience. On the other hand you have mouse and keyboard, where various keys do various things and your hand goes into a very odd position for most people. Let me tell you this, the moment I started that first mission on my PC I couldn't aim for my life. I sat in there for a while, and after struggling through it ultimately finished, but still was learning how to aim. It took me a good month or more to figure it out, and even more time to realize that I could control my recoil (it exists btw, it's just a lot easier for us to control by pulling down on the mouse). After all that, I finally was ready on PC. With that in mind let's compare my two situations: First time picking up a controller and using it was for Halo: Reach (which had a very similar feeling control wise to D1 and D2 on console) whereas my first time on PC happened to be Destiny 2. Console? Well let me tell you none of the enemies near me were left standing after about 30 seconds of figuring out how to aim. PC? After a good 30 minutes I finally figured out how to move my mouse properly to shoot things on the body. Am I just bad? Maybe, but who cares. This happened to a lot of people who swapped over to PC and had to relearn everything. Console is pretty self-intuitive whereas PC, well who tf thought of all these random keys to do these random things anyway? I jest, but you get the point. Feel free to argue it and I'll listen to what you have to say. Have a good one!

13 RespostasIs there some advantage to mouse and keyboard vs controller? I would argue yes, but many people would argue opposite. As others in this thread have pointed out, the major difference is that the majority of the best players are on PC - there's just no two ways about it. Playing DESTINY on console is a little like riding a bike with the training wheels on. It's a lot more forgiving on console, but the top end is much higher on PC. If you think in terms of math, the median player skill is the same, but PC allow the high and low ends to be higher and lower because you don't have things like aim assist. If your absolutely horrible at the game, your gonna do better on console than on PC. If you play the game for a living, your skill cap is going to be higher on PC. You see these numbers play out. Alot of people in my discord link their console and PC accounts to the discord stats bots. Every single one of them has better stats in console because the average player is just worst ( more casual ) on console. Look, consoles cater to a more casual audience than PC... That's always been the case.
-
yes , also recognise console wf.
-
When Halo drops on PC watch how fast they implement bloom on their guns 😂 H1z1 is smart in the sense where they have their studio cut in half... 1 for Pc, the other for console. They know what they’re doing
-
1 ResponderEditado por Eclipse: 6/6/2019 10:58:17 AMppl playing on pc arent that casual and tehy are also more skilled than console console in built aim assist destroyed teh players reflexes
-
Watching Goth play and it really is a different game on PC.
-
I really hope they add cross-save, as the rumors are saying...
-
Editado por name: 6/6/2019 11:43:18 AMconsoles have the biggest advantage - having Destiny1 which is better in every aspect (except fast travel and ledge grab)
-
Nah, it's just that console players have lower IQ scores.
-
9 Respostasmove to pc then 🙄
-
It’s amazing to play on PC, with cross saves I’ll play 98% on pc now
-
9 RespostasI think pc gets world first because most of the top players and streamers who get payed to play destiny moved to pc. That and I find that a lot of pc players are better than console players, not an insult to clarify.
-
5 RespostasWhat do you even want them to do? Give console pre nerf queenbreaker aim assist on every weapon and cap the framerate on PC to 15?
