Edit: After seeing some comments, I’ve decided to alter the idea.
Free update.
Use the infinite forest to bring back all missions and gear(raid and strike gear)from d1. Raids and strikes included.
Because of the infinite forest, you can alter the paths and boss fights. Make them change every now and then as a randomly generated area, so you can’t consistently cheese it.
Maybe add new gear that is similar, but is still different.
This could be a match-made activity from orbit. You could also gather your own fireteam to play together.
Instantly spawn into the raid, no running through the empty forest to get to the entrance.
We could also have the infinite forest recreate old patrol zones from d1, such as Venus, The Cosmodrome and The Moon.
Other features of the forest could be altered d2 year 1 strikes and with new strike specific gear.
What are your thoughts?

7 RespostasNo. D1 versions of the Raids should stay in D1. What they should do is give us VoG again, but with a new and relevant reason to go in with Newer areas to explore. Chase down a resurrected Atheon that will take us deeper into the Vault and reward us with never before seen VoG loot. Go back to Dark Below to chase after Oryx's sisters or whatever they are and go to new sections of the place..where...Crota was? I dunno what the place was called anymore. The same old Raids with the same old loot? Seriously. Talk about asking for repetitive old crap. Just want an easy way to get gear and level up. Not fooling anyone with that "challenging" line of BS. People want to whine about having to do the same things over and over then turn around and ask for more of that? Get real it would be getting Old stuff mixed with new stuff. A chance to return to Venus and earn new loot while revisiting old content made more relevant than simply recycling old Raids with the same mechanics and encounters
