Give me a real answer, not some made up one. Personally I don’t like heights and water. Oh and also big spiders.

Editado por CaptainMericah: 5/18/2019 5:13:18 AMI don’t like heights or water either! Especially deep water. I’ve always wondered if that’s related somehow or if I’m just weird twice. Edit: I also get wigged out going to the movies ever since that shooting in Colorado. It totally irrational and I don’t really feel that way anywhere else despite that kind of thing happening all over the place.

That I might not be able to one day do my job. I know it’s weird but I’ve been in all kinds of shit and gotten used to it
-
I'm afraid of fear itself. If I feel even the slightest bit afraid, I'll implode! Just...pop!...gone.

I joined the Marine Corps to try and better myself in many ways. It for some reason, never occurred to me that I would have to go into water. I mean Duh it’s in the name but it never crossed my mind. Good god does being submerged scare the living crap out of me! Being from Alaska I never swam before. It was definitely a major shock for me. I passed of course did what was needed, but I try to stay away from water if I can.

Becoming obsolete.

My greatest fear is uncertainty. It's frustratingly paralyzing. I've started to make it a point to take more risks. So far, it seems to be beneficial.

3 RespostasOo... Heights definitely make my heart climb my throat but I can manage. Swimming in a body of water where I do not know what I’m over or cannot see below (just too dark if deep) is something I really struggle with. I’ve done sea rescue and life saving training but it’s still something that I absolutely hate.

I'm not too keen on heights but I'm not afraid to go somewhere high up. Also wooden rocking horse...I don't know what it is but they freak me out.

The open ocean. Fun Fact: If you're stranded in the middle of the ocean, you're more likely to be eaten by a giant squid than a shark.

I am a very confident person, but I hate public speaking.

Throwing up, heights, eating breakfast and lunch

1 ResponderHeights and deep water Deep water is like heights, but rather than a quick death on impact it’s slow drowning and potential predators on the way down

2 RespostasEditado por LEGI0N of 0ne: 5/18/2019 4:23:49 AMAs irrational as it is, I have this fear of falling up. Of gravity either reversing or ceasing to work at all. This isn’t exactly the same as a fear of heights as I have no trouble flying planes and have even been on the London Eye without a hitch. Looking up at tall buildings triggers it, as well as looking straight up at the sky or at the ceiling of a big indoor stadium. I once visited the Washington Monument and almost passed out after looking up at it from the base. Only time it doesn’t bother me that much is on a clear, starry night.
Also giant, gaping maws. Once worked at a store where there was this children’s book about snakes on one of the shelves and the cover was a close up shot of a cobra with its mouth all the way open. I had to flip it around when I was working near it just so I could focus.
3 RespostasDeep water I can't see or differentiate the bottom of, bees and wasps, driving. Mirrors, super religious types, religious buildings, crowds, and large empty places freak me out a bit.

large centipede

Only thing that comes to mind is heights. I'm not sure how I managed to cliff dive. Guess I kinda got used to it but if I'm looking down a spiral staircase I'm probably going to drop to the floor.

As strange as it is, I hate security scanners.

Jellyfish, giant squid and looking away from mirrors in case your reflection still stares at you.
