(After part 14, Lee has chosen the Life After Death long sword and has been given it in a black case for transporting and storing. After making the purchase Michael and Lee have headed out of the shop, back to the streets.) Michael: *checking his money on him*. "Hmm..." Lee: *looks at Michael concerningly*. "Did you spend too much?" Michael: "My actual wealth is stored safely at the bank, but what I have on me is running a bit dry. I might have to pop over and withdraw some gold." Lee: *smiles softly, unnoticeable*. "I thank you for all your support Michael, it does mean a lot to me." Michael: *places his hand on Lee's shoulder*. "No problem man. Perhaps there will come a day when you can repay me." Lee: *chuckles*. "I'm not that rich if it's gold you're talking." Michael: "Nah not gold, but there has been rumors that there's another world unimaginable in thought beyond The Scorch. I'd like to venture out there someday." Lee: *looks up at Michael, raising an eyebrow*. "Uh, going beyond the wasteland is impossible, no one's ever made it back that have tried." (Suddenly, a heavy footstep plants on to the ground behind Lee and Michael, breathing heavily as if the person were wearing a mask.) Hammer: "beyond the wasteland, is where I'm from." Michael: *turns to face Hammer*. "I call bullshit, no way you could have survived the journey alone." (Hammer laughs menacingly behind his gas mask and walks up to Michael, pushing aside Lee.) Hammer: *looking down at Michael, in his face*. "Who said anything about me being alone? Heh, whatever. Us Demigods can handle much more than the average supernatural." Michael: *staring into Hammer's gas mask, confused*. "Us?" Hammer: *steps back*. "You aren't aware? That's kind of funny actually, you aren't very bright any way." Michael: *deep breath*. "Alright, stop antagonizing me or you'll find trouble you wish you hadn't..." Hammer: "Heheh, the arena awaits you and I, as soon as Lee is out of the way." (Hammer quickly walks off, not giving Michael any time to respond.) Michael: *holds his forehead*. "I have no idea who that guy was..." Lee: "That was, unsettling..." Michael: "Whatever, let's head back Lee." Lee: *nods*. "Alright." (Michael and Lee head home for the day, out of the high end part of the city.) --------------------------------------------------- (Sherlock's house, high end area, evening. Sherlock, Vex, and Ring in the backyard of Sherlock's house which has been modified into a training courtyard.) Vex: *stretching*. "Vex is ready to start his new training with the almighty Sherlock!" Ringleader: *sitting back in a chair under an umbrella with his fedora covering his face*. "...." Sherlock: *standing at attention with his arms behind his back, looking towards Vex*. "Training you will not be easy Vex, but to harness new abilities within requires time in The Other. A realm I created through my thoughts specifically for these reasons." Vex: "Vex is determined to make you proud Sherlock! Vex will do whatever it takes!" Sherlock: "Mhm..... Let's begin then." (I won't be showing the training between the two, as it isn't needed.) -------------------------------------------------- (Lee's apartment complex room, almost midnight. Lee lies awake in his bed, staring at the ceiling as the fan spins making a soothing wind sound. After a few minutes of deep thought, Lee shuts his eyes and drifts asleep.) Lee: *subtly wakes up, eyes facing a clear white floor*. "Huh?? Where am i?" ???: "Where do you believe you are?" Lee: *stands up and looks over to where he heard the voice*. "You again......why am I here again?" ???: *sitting on a white bench, arms hidden beneath his black cloak*. "Do you believe you have changed your own fate? Or perhaps Michael did it for you...." Lee: *heavy sigh*. "The new sword will definitely help me in future battles, I can guarantee you that." ???: *looks up to the lifeless sky above*. "Michael won't be by your side much longer, a sudden leave will occur and you will be forced to act. I only hope the decisions you make will be correct." (A bright flash strikes Lee in the eyes, blinding him as he wakes up back in his bed.) Lee: *holding his chest, trying to slow his heart rate*. "Something's not right here....I should keep a close eye on Michael..." ----------------------------------------------------- (The future....) Caius: *falls to the ground after taking an explosion to the chest*. "Ugh! No..." Starrk: *stomps on Caius's chest, pointing his gun at his face*. "I thought you were a formidable Divine, as you were the creator. It seems you decided to show your face too soon." Caius: *breathing heavily from pain*. "You can't kill me....I created this world...I created this universe!" Starrk: "Once you're gone, gone for good, your little children from earth will have nothing left to protect them." Caius: "Your arrogance is nauseating, soon you will face a roadblock far more powerful than I, one you won't be able to stop...... I've seen it..." Starrk: *hesitating to pull the trigger*. "Between you and me, let's hope it isn't Saitonia this time, ha!" (A blue flash of light swallows up the gothic village, the sound of the explosion heard from all over the realm of Asterisk.) Jay: *stops walking and turns around as he hears the explosion*. "Uh oh..." Worm: *looks to Jay*. "The hell was that?!" Saitonia: "Starrk...." (End of Part 15.)
