In my opinion,It just makes the game modes broken, pretty much infinite invisible for some players, grenade spam in small maps. You have turned them all into mayhem.
Next time please don't include crucible in the game modes this can take effect.
I'm pretty much going to sit this event/pvp out because of it, not my cup of tea.

Why? Pvpers defend PvP when it is part of an exotic quest, and tell the pve players to deal with it, and PvP is part of the game.. Can't have it both ways is PvP part of the game or not. Im a sweat and keep getting grenades by a bunch of git guds, but when it's get 200 hand cannon kills, git gud. I'm just a player who enjoys everything, and 3 weeks of grenade spamming is fine, it isn't permanent, if it was I would have a problem with it.

293 RespostasEditado por Cozmo: 4/18/2019 2:23:07 AMWith the Revelry, we wanted to rejuvenate every activity type in Destiny with a global change to the Sandbox that lasted for a limited time. We knew this would be disruptive, but were willing to try the experiment because the event only lasts for a few weeks. It’s clear we overshot – instead of adding excitement and variation to the Crucible (especially in Competitive), we’ve instead made the experience random and frustrating. We don’t have the ability to immediately remove Tonics in Competitive via our servers. We’ll continue to investigate possible changes but this experiment will have to run the duration of the Revelry before we can patch a change. We’ve learned a lot from the last 2 days of Revelry. The next time we make changes that affect the overall Sandbox for a limited time, we will ensure a much better experience for the Crucible.

No, it should. Its great. Stop complaining.
-
I agree, they could have just brought back mayhem as an option instead.
-
1 ResponderI think it should be kept for quickplay. However the Revelry buffs shouldn't effect competitive.
-
"Turned them all into mayhem" That is one of the best combinations of words I could have heard. Fun deserves to exist, after all.
-
58 RespostasHah! PvP has been ruining PvE for years and for once the shoe is on the other foot 🦶

20 RespostasGood God, the PvP guys are the biggest cry babies in gaming. Okay, so for limited time there will be grenade spam. So, what? Your precious K/D can live with it for a week or two.
-
It shouldn't be in competitive but in QP and everywhere else it's fine, it's actually good for the most part because the game was and is boring without this. The only issue I have is now being restricted to PvP for headshot kills as a punishment for Bungie not doing their job that for some reason affects me...
-
2 RespostasI don't think you think much. Grade school dropout. You probably can't even read my reply. Your mom has to read it to you, and tell you what ever word means
-
Please, this is the most fun ive had with PvP in a long time, and there is way more activity now in the player base. This event has reignited the players who have started to give up and made them have fun again
-
7 RespostasHow about a different opinion. Leave it in forever because PVP is actually fun now. Mayhem is basically the only good gametype. If you want boring balanced gunplay, go play cod.
-
Really, but what about all the super skilled pvp players?? Should they not be even more unbeatable not less? Simple ppl know the meta, the ranges of weapons and maps, this event destroyed those metrics, and makes everyone even. So ppl cry when they lose that advantage, but it's just 2 weeks. Reminds me of good old D1 IB, hardcore pvp players stayed away, because one run could kill your K/D. Poison to any Trials player who cares about elo.
-
Good, keep your lunas out of my crucible.
-
1 ResponderThis is exactly why they don’t have 100% skill based match making. Once it’s an even playing field, people complain
-
8 RespostasSeriously? Something that makes pvp a bit more fun, almost mayhem like, and here come the tantrums. Ffs
-
18 RespostasMay I recommend growing up? It's a short term event to have fun and mix things up...
-
What’s the fun in not having the reveling light buff it’s pretty enjoyable

Remember when Bungie made some changes to matchmaking in Comp that had an "accidental" effect on QP too ? Posts hating it got downvoted into oblivion and posts loving it got tons of comments and upvotes. Bungie saw they had found a way to make at least some players very happy so they LEFT IT THAT WAY !!! Imagine the same thing happening with spam-grenades. Bungie might leave it that way. It would make Destiny2 PvP unique in a market full of PvP games. They could call it Crucinade or Grenadible or maybe just refer to it as PvG. Stranger things have happened.

8 RespostasWas 400 points from getting my Luna's, recluse and broadsword. Can't get a win to save my life now. Uninstalled my game, later Bungie.

For those of use close to getting to fabled or legend, that’s a long time and can slow down our progress. Allowing this in comp wasn’t a good idea Bungie, but y’all don’t care about the crucible anymore.

I think people overuse the word "broken."
-
Guys try to use riskrunner if you encounter a skip grenade hunter!!!
-
The only thing I see is Titans having their melee, and hunters with their class ability. Warlocks use grenades most often (That I've seen, anyway).
-
I actually think that this is probably one of the best things that happened in D2. Grenades and Melees all the way! Yes!!!!

Destiny PvP isn't balanced, hasn't been balanced in the 5 years since Destiny's creation, and never will be balanced. Play or move on.
