As the title says it’s completely useless in PVE you use you blade barrage you kill say 5 yellow bars and get 10% of your super and that’s all, it not being a roaming super isn’t an excuse because take a look at nova bomb, if you get a lot of kills with that when you have skull on then you get your whole super back but with shards, no you get not even a quarter back
-
1 ResponderUse the skull and stop crying
-
Sharts💩 are useless to but everyone still has to deal.
-
4 RespostasApparently no one knows how shards works. It is not for mob clearing; it is for bursting ultras.

8 RespostasEditado por DeathPony07: 4/15/2019 10:03:48 PMI went back to using Arcstrider, because Bungie ruined Blade Barrage. Thanks for crying about everything, PvP crybabies.

1 ResponderIts not for killing adds. It's for damaging tanky yellow bars. The Super refill is based on damage done and gives me anywhere between half and 2/3rds back when I use it on a boss that doesnt die as a result. I played a game of Mayhem with them on and jts still a good exotic to use there.

Makes blind well faster, that’s about it

10 RespostasSkull is brokenly OP. As much fun as it is, it needs to be balanced. You get more than zero back with shards, which is 100% more than most of the supers in the game. AND it's a really good super anyway. You're spoiled.
-
It was always like this, but no one complained because they were apparently OP in crucible. They have been inconsistent since DAY ONE!
-
There is room to argue that Sticks of Gallager is the more reasonable exotic armour compared to Skull, Orpheus, or Phoenix. Supers are our ultimate abilities that can completely turn the tide of a battle. From a design perspective, it's pretty broken to have armours that completely negate the one defining balance point of a super, that being the cooldown.
-
They overnerfed it. They did the same for ursa. Skull of dire ahamkara is likely next.

3 RespostasEditado por Zer0: 4/15/2019 12:42:42 AMI try to comment every time I see this post in hopes the community up-votes and backs a buff for barrage and shards in PvE. The combo was a bit broken in PvP prior to the nerf, and did deserve a to be reigned in for that game mode. No issues there. Bungie, however, was not thorough or careful with the change for all game modes. Not only was shards nerfed, the barrage super itself was changed. Damage is now mostly from blade explosions instead of impact. If used on red bars, shards hardly regens any energy. If used on shielded enemies, the super usually just throws them around the map, which results in low regen. If you slam all of the blades into a boss, you can see some regen. On top of barrage being a much weaker super in PvE, the combo is now really boring. The RNG element of shards regen on top of the super being weak is just... I also would argue against this combo being a crutch in PvE. Lots of folks (including myself) cleared all of the content including the raids before getting shards to drop, as the exo was pretty rare. It didn't enable anyone to cheat challenging content, it was just a really fun combo to use once you finally got the drop. Bungie stated that they were no longer going to nerf, but bring other supers / exo's / up. I realize that was never a commitment that they couldn't perfectly adhere to, and honestly never expected that. Looking at the majority of sandbox changes (save for Arc subclass buffs), Bungie is back to heading towards a flat playing field where nothing is exceptional or fun. At best, there might be a really strong combo / weapon for a season, but it feels like that will just get nerfed as well. The combo is a shadow of its former glory. It used to be so much fun.

Needs to be more like skull of dire ahamkara

Beautiful in blindwell but celestial is better everywhere else

1 ResponderHit the big fat guy with all your knives = profit
-
Kill 20 minions of darkness, make one orb and get 10% super; kill one guardian in mayhem, make one orb and instantly get super back - repeat.
-
7 RespostasIt’s definitely not useless and your example was really over exaggerated. If you kill a good sized group of enemies you’ll get like 70% back. If you’re using Blade in PvE what exotic would you be using with them anyways?
-
you get super energy back based on the knives landing not the amount of kills if you kill 10 gold guys with 1 knife its not gonna get you any energy
-
What a tragedy
-
I also have found it quite inconsistent. I’ll blow it on a boss and get over half, blow it on a huge mob of thrall and get like barely over a quarter.
-
Useless except for sudden death Gambit.
-
Didn’t get the Shards until early this week. Ran through a strike consistently dropping 7 orbs off of supers. Never once did the super bar even get past my melee on the HUD.
-
I would rather they just rework the arms to give a third volley with improved tracking.
-
4 RespostasThe problem is that it’s inconsistent.
-
Only times I find it clutch now are in mayhem pvp and normal gambit 3rd round.
-
Yep. They broke it.
-
1 ResponderYeah it's just so inconsistent now.
