BRING FOV TO CONSOLE!
Apex Legends brought adjustable field of view to console gamers and it completely changes the feel of the game in a great way. It’s the future. And the best part about it is it’s adjustable so u can change it or leave it. Ur call. Throw me a bone Bungie

4 RespostasGet a good job and stop gaming on old outdated tech, females will flock to your uncapped frame rate, red carpet will be laid in front of you, never have to line up anywhere, this is all made possible if people would stop expecting hand outs and get a proper job that pays good income. So many scrubs on these forums slowing down my PC's performance with there disgusting console infections

I don’t know why bungie refuses to add one I’d probably get back into the game if they did plenty of better looking/ taxing games have them like titanfall 2,apex,borderlands 1 and 2 even Minecraft has an fov slider like they should just add one it’s not hurting anyone

I’d be cool for console players to have higher FOV. But this game is at a yardstick 30fps. Upping the FOV would probably make the game have lower FPS since it has to render more thing.

19 RespostasDoubt 60 FPS will ever come to console unless they downgrade quality for framerate. Fov won’t come. Consoles aren’t powerful enough.

And the engine bungie uses isnt exactly anything great. Whereas ea uses much better optimized engines like frostbite allowing games like apex and Battlefield to have a fov option and still run smoothly (not sure if apex is on frostbite tho). Better chance with d3 and ps5, xbox2 and google new thing next year.

6 RespostasHate to tell you, but it won't work. Console already dips below the 30fps target a lot, if you bump up the FoV you won't even achieve 30fps. Increasing FoV from 75 to 105 on PC yields on average, a 10-15 frames lost on average. It would not work on console lol

This is great to look at i almost couldnt breathe when i saw this “apex legends brought FOV to console.” Not only are there a larger number of games with FOV settings, but also apex is basically the sequel of titanfall 2 (which has FOV) but even the first game might too

The game runs so poorly as it is, I don't thing either the current gen of consoles, or Bungo for that matter, are up to the task.

The only thing that looks nice with FoV is the hunter in third person jumping. That is all.

The Source engine is a hell of a lot better than whatever Bungie uses. Plus, AL is still just a BR game with bad graphics. I don't see it happening.

54 Respostasit can’t handle it why not just get a PC? it’s by far the best way to play destiny and all the best players are on here there is literally no downside. game runs at 100+ fps on ultra like a dream
