Some of us want to get our flashpoints done asap. So can you guys PLEASE TRIGGER THE GOD DAMN HEROIC!!?

I rarely do a flashpoint but if I run past the active event I will melt it. I need that glimmer.

16 RespostasIts even more annoying when you can do cryo pod perfectly fine solo then an asshat joins and melts the boss.

Seriously. Yesterday I had a guy trying to burn down the cryo pod escapee while I'm frantically working on the freeze orbs. @sshole literally used his super to try to finish the job while I grabbed the last orb. It felt very satisfying to trigger the Heroic before he could finish.

I like to watch people do them. They look at me like I should help them when I'm just admiring the view. *drooling over dreg meat opposite of the public event* I said I would watch people do them didn't i...you ever try dreg meat!?!

The other cool thing when running solo, is right after you complete it and collect the chest, just fast travel back to where you're at. There's a high chance to spawn right into another instance of the event. You can usually get 2. Best I've done is 3 on Artifact's Edge on Nessus and the Winding Cove on EDZ. 3 Heroics completed in under 5 mins time well spent. Have to be solo, otherwise you just respawn into your fireteam's instance. God I hope they never fix this.

One time someone actually went out of their way to send me a message on PSN and say to stay out of the circle during the warsat event. He literally didn’t set foot in the circle the whole time, I was the only one in it. And I’m like dumbass, if you don’t stand in the circle at all you can’t complete the event. The wizards don’t spawn if you never reach 25, 50, and 75%. He was just like “oh.” Like damn if you don’t even know don’t be out here trying to school other people.

(nuking the first walker, killing taken in blights) Im pretty sure 99% of this community still doesn't know to shoot the blight with the modifier from the taken bubble, holy shit guys. get it together.

I fully agree, but unless they increase the rewards offered by Heoric, it'll continue to happen. Maybe make it harder to trigger, but offer a substantial reward increase.

Lol i feel your frustration. Only advice i have to make it less frustrating: turn the event heroic yourself. That's what i do when running around solo. Sometimes it's an event within an event: to see if i can turn it heroic before a random tries to just complete it lol.

A couple of enhancement cores, in fact even just one, as a reward and people would do heroics every time.

Its really annoying. Hell when I was trying to do heroic public events for whatever it was a good while ago, something that should have taken 15 or 20 minutes took me 2 and a half hours because nobody was triggering heroic. It doesn't hurt you at all to make public events heroic. It takes like one or two extra minutes and a little more effort to do a heroic event and it benefits everyone. Just stop being an ass and do the nice thing like damn.

The only legit reason I can think of for people to do it is to quickly get their ten radilorian whatevers for the forge steps. Do two and done. Is there another way that’s faster? I don’t know but I’m just spitballing here.

3 RespostasBungie, please create an emote that says “Hey Idiot, stop shooting that and work with me to make this Public Event Heroic!” Okay, maybe you can drop the “idiot” part and rework the message a bit, but you get the idea. Better yet, have the emote send the correct instructions on making the current event heroic to the other guardians that have joined in the PE fight, for that specific event. For brand new content, if you want us to figure it out ourselves you could hold off the specific instructions for a short amount of time (say 3 weeks after the first YouTube video or magazine article come out explaining it). You say you want guardians to work together, well it is a lot easier to do when they know what to do. This is a way they can tell each other without swearing or calling each other names.

Hell yeah I join a public and see randoms putting in effort to not make it heroic so i just sit there and chill for my free rewards
