I don't hate Bungie, but I know some people need to be fired because there has been a hell of a lot of stupid decisions in this game.

Maybe the split with Activision will fix this. i.e. if your boss is telling you to do dumb things, and then he leaves, all of a sudden you may be able to be a lot more effective.
-
Activation didn't have anything to do how D2 was released and how things have been headed. They may have pushed Bungie to put more content out but how the game was designed was all Bungie.
-
Time will tell, post split. Honus is on Bungie now, to prove it wasn't them. The reports for employees cheared at the news of the split. That has to indicate some sort of creative suppression etc. The D1 cut content, the small DLCs, annual pass, strict time lines for releases etc. I'm clearly no Bungie fan boy, Destiny has been my only Bungie game, but I'll give them the chance to prove it wasn't (just) them.
-
No no, I'm not saying it was all Bungie, but boy did they make some really dumb decisions.
-
Money can make that happen. Especially the figures they were talking about. Bands, sports people, general public etc, all have examples of "selling their soul for a $" Let's see what happens with games like Anthem and Division coming soon, and the fallout of the split.
-
What has me concern sorta speak is the new micro IP. That seems to be taking up more of their time then D2 especially knowing they're working on D3. I don't expect much to change knowing how both D1 and d2 released pretty much the same way with the base game and the first 2 expansions. Knowing Bungie is not going to have the 2 other studios working with them, this means longer delays and taking longer to produce content, updates etc...
-
I'll take quality (and longer wait time), over quantity.
-
I'm not trying to change your mind, just saying. bungie doesn't have the key people that made d1 what it was. Bungie has changed as a company since D2 released. Anyways, will see as usual.
-
Nah all good, I'm not a Bungie fan boy that is 100% on Destiny no matter what. I can see the potential for Destiny, and just hope that (after 5-6 years) it is realised.
-
But but but my mama said activision is the devil
-
This is why I say, you don't sign a contract with the devil and then try to turn around and act innocent.
-
Activision was/is the pimp bungie is and always will be the hoe. The pimp doesn't care how the hoe does it as long as the money is there in the right amount of time. Maybe this analogy will help some people to realize what activisions role was.
-
They did have a role, but not in how the game was design. That was on Bungie for rebooting the game and Activision got on their A** telling them to get their act together.
-
Yup Actovision did not tell them to make shitty DLCs or to make boring ass repeditive shit or to make RNG system more bipolar then mother nature.
