No it wasn't. I tried soloing it and couldn't get past the first boss.
Edit: It was easy for you because you used a Warlock.

Because you're just not good and arent using proper tactics. Again, there is a triumph for beating it solo and I solo it every month.

Editado por Spooky_Ari: 1/13/2019 10:14:58 PMWarlock. You have healing abilities. Explain to me the "tactics" for Titans and Hunters. Also, you just explained why it wasn't meant for solo players in mind by using me as an example.
-
You're dumb. My build doesn't use healing abilities! I used Nova Warp and empowered rift with lunafaction boots to reload my Thunderlord and kill the last boss in 60 seconds. A Titan could do the same with Hammer of Sol to kill the knights and then pop rally barricade and melt the boss. During the Ogre fight I used Wish Ender or Malfeasance to kill the minor enemies and then took out the wizards, got the buffs and used Chaos Reach on the boss. I kill the boss in 2-3 damage phases. A hunter with Blade Barrage and dodge to kite around would trivialize this fight. Just stop. You're bad as a solo player and you need to rethink your tactics. There is a reason there is a solo completion triumph. Me and many other players solo it with no problem.

This is Ace of Spades all over again. and again, just because you and some other players solo'd it, doesn't mean it justifies Shattered Throne as a purely solo experience.
-
I never said it was purely a solo experience.
-
You said it was designed for solo players in mind.
-
“In mind” so that it is possible for a solo player to still do, but still remaining a multiplayer activity.
-
It was designed in mind for people who want to solo, not solo players.

Editado por Ferus Lux: 1/14/2019 12:35:18 AMAlso I'd like you to point where I tried to even justify as a solo experience. It seems to me that you're just bitter you can't beat it solo and now you're strawmanning by attacking a sentence I never wrote in an attempt to do what? Vent? This getting ridiculous. Just stop it. Search up some guides everything is going to be okay.
-
That does not indicate at all that it was PURELY for solo player. In mind means considered. When it was designed, it designed so that it would be doable solo which is why there is a solo triumph for it.
-
Editado por Spooky_Ari: 1/14/2019 12:52:05 AMNo, I think we just have different definitions on what "solo player" means. Solo players to me means, having not the option to solo but doing so on the basis of requirement or forcibly obligated to. Solo players in your definition is any player willing to do this barely soloable activity designed to be difficult for at least a team of 3, but doable for a competent team of 1 player. It does not accommodate solo play. As such the triumphs is there because it's worthy of achievement, if every solo player could do it it wouldn't be big deal.
-
... Going back to my original reply, I said it was designed with solo players in mind, meaning that despite it being a 3 players activity, Bungie designed the mechanics so that even a solo player could it. Bungie would not make a triumph for something impossible. Whether it is easy or not is besides the point.
