"small nerf" ? Nova warp was literally nerfed into uselessness. Even slower while charging, less armor, charging drains even more, AND the super duration got cut? In what -blam!-ing universe does all of this equate to "small nerf".
Blade barrage got a damage tweak, and the way it deals damage, flipped around. Big whoop. Nothing screams balance like killing an entire subclass tree though. 😂

Imo, they didn’t change what needed to be changed, which was the blast radius. That is what I took issue with. Stand 10 feet away from Nova Warp? Dead. Wear stompees AND triple jump over Nova Warp? Still dead. The blast radius is way too large for something that had a long duration and good damage resistance and great mobility with the blinks. You should have to be nearby someone to kill them, it’s a close proximity roaming super after all, so the blast radius shouldn’t make it as if it were a ranged roaming super.
-
It was one of the longest lasting roaming supers, without the assistance of any exotics. It had one of the longest duration of any roaming super. It had one of the longest OHK ranges of any roaming super and it required ZERO skill to use

Editado por Why is this happening?: 1/15/2019 12:02:00 AMRiiiight. You probably think BB is balanced lmao. Huntard main alert.
-
To be fair it was by far the most overpowered super
-
Only 'broken' thing about NW is hitting through walls. It will be nerfed to the ground soon. SB has an insane duration and turns you invisible, if it is not dominating yet it will really soon.

Editado por Why is this happening?: 1/14/2019 11:44:53 PMAny roaming super can be "overpowered" if you let it do what it's meant to do. You kill it quickly, and there won't be an issue. Unfortunately, 98% of the community seems to be unable to hold right trigger in a certain direction. And no, there is no "to be fair" here. Bungie completely, wrongfully nerfed it into the ground. Warlocks are now a subclass tree short.
-
Every single other roaming super has some drawback but not Nova warp. "Holding the right trigger in one direction" is not a good solution to how overpowered it was
-
Feel free to list drawbacks on other roamers, I'll wait.

Personally prefer Chaos reach but I understand why you'd favour the cheese of nova warp pre the Nerf.
-
I don't play PvP. I use it to clear ads, so foh with your claims of me liking "cheese" supers. Everything wrong with this game stems from PvP.
-
Well, it could be like a slight reduction. We have no idea until we try it. It still looks pretty bad, but I can't say for sure. I'm assuming nova warps movement speed reduction was just removing it's full speed it would carry while doing it. So like moving without sprinting. To be fair, with nova warp you could walk towards a target who's like 20 feet back but since the aoe travels with you it would still hit. The extra energy on charge attack should have been it's nerf OR a duration reduction, not both.

Editado por JazzyPaladin477: 1/13/2019 5:07:27 PMWelcome to titan town! 😀enjoy your stay. They should not have nerfed any hunter/warlock classes though. If they had made fist of havoc or hammers last about 30 seconds, with some larger damage radius or better tracking, added some health super/regen on kills, and some insane invisibility/fast movement options to bring titans up then all classes would have been equal.
-
Nova Warp had no drawbacks and was easily the best slaying super in the game. Health regen? Check. High damage resistance? Check. Long duration? Check. Movement speed? Check. AoE damage? Check. Not only does it have all of that, but it one shots other roaming supers, has a 165 damage melee, and an almost guaranteed one shot grenade from well past shotgun range.
-
Lol spectral is better. You can completely miss it has a 30 second duration, swings don't drain super AT ALL. It has a 64% damage reduction with 0 tiers masterwork armor. Turned 57 damage to 20. Let's not forget it sees through walls, doesn't show on radar, it's neutral game has see through walls a d not on radarness. But it's ok they reduced it's armor by .04% along with it's duration.
-
Exactly, SB needs a nerf more than NW does.
-
I would have prefered neither be nerfed.

Editado por OTAKU_4_LIFE_907: 1/14/2019 4:44:52 AMYeah if ur crouching and get a precision shot which lasts like 9 seconds I think, dont hype that perk like it's good. Wishender does the same thing and u can continuously spam that lol let alone u have foetracer and one eye mask that pretty much do the same thing. Again not that great of a perk for pvp
-
It's literally designed for PvP and if you can't crouch before getting a kill you don't know how to use the class.
-
Omg. Something isn't good for PvP the world is going to come to an end.
-
Blade barrage now can just be avoided by not being in the knives when they explode plus a damage nerf and now we can kill ourselves with it. Warlocks barley got anything buffed to what needed to be buffed (Nova bomb) and nova warp was fine the way it was. While titans get nothing but buffs spoon fed to them as usual
-
We'll have to see the super in practice. Post Nerf.
-
For Crucible.. I kinda understand the Warp nerf... For PvE though.. They basically just killed Nova Warp.. :\ Yet another PvP based balance patch that'll screw things up in PvE...
-
Yup, but I can't even be surprised anymore, just irritated.
-
OK ok, calm down well find some more crutches for you...
get ja baited
-
I don't play PvP, so congrats, you played yourself. Shit troll.
