Yeah, the content itself looks weak, and I have little hope for endgame considering their stance on any form of trading. If simply trading two weapons of matching rarity and power but of different archetypes "ruins" or "breaks" the game, then the content itself must not be interesting enough to do for the sake of it. If singleplayer games have thrived for as long as they have without dangling "LOOT" in front of you in order to do anything, the same effort should be put in these live service games, but instead they choose to make generic horde mode missions that are so tedious or otherwise boring that shiny things are the only way to make it worth it. That's not a concept I'm okay with being perpetuated in this day and age. Developers should be aspiring to be better, not making another looter that isn't making players feel engaged enough to keep playing forbthe sake of it. There's a reason why Destiny suffers from content droughts and population declines so often. They've chosen to focus only on the neverending chase for shiny things to such an extent that they've made a game that isn't worth playing once you get what you sought out to acquire. That's just poor design, imo.
