Tbh, the expansion is a joke. I like it and all but Bungie told us a while back that there's no story missions, fine I accept that but no story at all? The dialogue we have says nothing at all, no lore dropping despite having the lore book open after the first forge, that's probably just another bug on top of the other 50 new bugs, etc.
Do we expect anything from.next season or is it going to be another end game expansion that nobody asked for? I'm all for end game and a grind but this expansion feels like half an expansion.
The warmind expansion had EP, a story and another raid lair. This has the equivalent of EP and that's it with maybe a dungeon coming. Whoo?
Shin Malfur has been hyped since we got the Thorn and The Last Word in D1 and the story set up in the gambit lore and malfeasance mission sounds like it could be really cool... If it's had any effort put into it that is. Are we getting an expansion or is it a season of gambit that we have to look forward to?

I do like the raid. Quick and easy. I just didnt want another LW as much as i do like LW. Im glad they gave us something fun and relatively simple to do. The guns and gear for BA look fukin awesome. Even the reskinned ones. Im grinding forges because the ship looks badass imo. But yes, everything else definitely feels as youve described.

Oh duh me xD Oh, eh I'll get there. I'll just keep forging the augmented weapons and powerful frames and I'll get the ship eventually. The only ship I care about is the stupid dreaming city ship that I'll never get for the damn title...

Ha I have that one. Its pretty cool too! This game is so backwards sometimes. Ill get things that others need for titles that Im not going after. And they have what I need for the titles I do want.

I only need RNG crap for the title. I don't have the ship, ghost or sparrow. I've done everything in every week since launch of forsaken and I feel like I'm being pranked...

See, when people start thinking this way and others can understand why people may think this, that's when you know there's problems arising. I know what you mean, so there's already a few problems there.

You are right, my mistake. I forgot about that for a moment. Ok, still it's missing story. End game is fine and I'm one of those who enjoys the end game grind and all but this doesn't feel like it has any purpose. Haven't touched the raid and I'm 650 on 1 character and 1 piece of gear off 650 on my other 2, story isn't being told well at all and now I'm just waiting for weeks for something new to do. I get why Bungie decided to use this model, I really do, however it's kinda iffy isn't it? Now instead of weeks after the expansion with nothing to do, there's nothing to do for weeks during the expansion... I think it's fine to have whatever content there to do at your own pace, if people wanna complain there's nothing to do after, that's on them and they can play another game while they wait for more content, that's fine and normal. I'm not bored or anything right now but when a game that's supposed to be story driven throws out the story and out of nowhere the publishers announce that the expansion is all end game 1 week before launch, it puts into question if this is what all the expansions of the annual pass are going to be or not. I say that because in my opinion, this is a step back really. I like the expansion and the idea is cool, to expand on what we have in the form of end game however this expansion isn't an expansion of anything. It's new, yet there's nothing to explain any of it at all. I haven't seen any lore, I don't know how to get the lore and I really hope Bungie can pull their act together for the next expansion cause if it launches in the same way as BA, there will be trouble, doubly so if they don't communicate with us before the expansion drops and if there's no story.
