Just match the singe...why don't players just do that ?

I would agree, but other quests dictate what you use as well. Also, others change their classes, sometimes at the end. The real question is why do we need to inspect someone at the end of a match to get credit for it, especially when we just beat it. Just get rid of it. Singe does not make you that much more powerful anyways.
-
I do, it just makes things easier and overall having the singe on abilities makes everything go a bit quicker. But, some people want to play the way they want to or get the daily vanguard bounty done or whatever other reason they have for not doing it. And there's nothing wrong with that, the real bottom line is the requirement doesn't make much sense and just makes solo players hate each other for not coordinating.

Editado por Tk: 12/19/2018 1:44:02 PMMany people dont match the singe, I assume they would and go into a strike and forget only to realise I was the odd one out and my progress is still on 1 and ive wasted time doing that strike

Editado por Haruchai: 12/19/2018 1:28:56 PMIt may be because the vanguard bounties at that time don't match the singe. I have in the past matched the singe and missed out on credit because the others don't. I have matched the bounty requirements and not the singe and have gotten credit for the strikes, so its a bit hit and miss. TBH, I don't mind doing more than just 3 strikes so it isn't a problem for me, with a decent group and I don't mean the speed racers, I mean the ones that stick as a team, i'll keep doing them until I complete all I want to complete. After I have completed the bounties i will go for the three completion, i just check what the others are running when we spawn. IMO the 25% extra damage is neither here nor there as everyone is way too op'ed anyway.

The worst is when 2 people switch at the end. Loaded question requires arc, as a prime example.
-
Because randoms don't and yeah it doesn't make much difference... I might match one weapon to it but that's it. I have to check my teammates every damn time. Almost always solar subclass.
-
Because it barely makes any difference
-
It may not be D1 burn levels, but dont write off an extra 25% damage boost like its nothing.
-
A stronger subclass makes way more sense to use over a tiny 25% damage increase. Top tree hammers is WAY better to run on any burn than and stupid striker class. For titans at least.
-
This. It’s really not even about the small singe damage buff as strikes are easy for everyone no matter what. It’s just a useless feature requiring you to inspect others at the end of a strike.
-
My stupid missile striker and her stupid skullfort would like a word.
-
Missile titans are serious fun to play. I've been using my hammers and sometimes top tree sentinel in the forges, but I'm about to upgrade skullfort & bomb those ads. Especially since ammo drops are so stingy.
-
Disagree. When grenadier is the modifier two pulse grenades lays waste to things pretty well.
-
While I do agree (that pulses are pretty good), a solar titan with hallow fire heart can throw thermite grenades twice as fast, while grenadier is active, no matter the burn. When your super is charged , you can throw a grenade every second. A huge damage output potential. Unless your using the Skullfort to recharge your pulse nades. But i still recommend that everyone plays the way that makes them happy. I think the "singe" is overrated. That's all. Cheers!

Skullfort recharges melee and heals though
-
Yes, and again, I agree, but you cant melee everything. You cant melee a boss to recharge your nades. Sure, it works great on trash mobs, but not majors and above. While hallow fire heart works no matter the situation. Plus the extra damage from hammer strike? DPS machine, especially when paired with the EP shotty. I was a striker main for 3.5 years and finally switched when I got the EP shotty.
-
Cant melee everything? Do you even titan? :D Although, still dont understand why charging nades is being brought up with skullfort? I use skullfort to superhero landing everything (missile code melee). No better slayer imo, especially in gambit. Throw in the hands on perk on my skullfort and i get supers absurdly fast and let those orbs rain. If you havent tried skullfort with code of the missile melee yet, i highly recommend. Oh yeah, and trench barrel will kick in on any super hero landing hit or actual super hit, cause theyre all considered melee.
-
I have, and it is awesome. The worst is when a team mate steals your kill and you have to wait for a melee recharge. Yeah, we were talking about heroic strikes and the grenadier modifier. Have a good one.

Thanks for the discussion Guardian.

Editado por Peloquinsoul: 12/19/2018 11:02:11 AMWhere's it been confirmed as 25%? Edit: never mind found a few reddit posts listing it as 25%. Still in a strike with enemies already massively underpowered, it barely makes any difference.
-
Because you might not enjoy playing that subclass. I pretty much just ignore it
