Lost Forge sounds like exactly what I'm looking for
Based on this interview, the Lost Forges sounds like a great idea. The Blind Well is already one of my favorite activities in Forsaken, and the 3 person fireteam matchmaking means that I won't have to wander back and forth until I find people (as I sometimes have to for the Well). Being able to earn high-tier rewards (although not initially, apparently; whatever that means) is exactly the sort of repetitive-but-fun activity that I love to do when there's something "specific" I'm looking to do.
I know the Annual Pass is controversial, but assuming you [i]are[/i] on board for it, it sounds like there's some fun stuff coming down the pipeline.

1 ResponderI have been too hyped for too long about too many content releases for destiny 2. The end result has been two tokens and a blue too many times. I'm going to play it, but I'm not moist for it either.

8 RespostasIm unsure how anyone could like Blind well.. it is dull and brain-numbingly boring.. "Shoot these adds in this confined space. Now move to this confined space and shoot the same adds." wash rinse and repeat until you fight dull cookie cutter bosses.. Prison of Elders in D1 was the best form of this kind of game play. Unique arenas, waves of adds in a free form area, and unique bosses. This kind of arena needs to return.. we will see if this forge stuff lives up to that. Because right now, EP and BW have fallen short.

To me, this company is too shady and definitely don't get my trust to buy something of them of which i don't even know what it is, what i'm actually paying for. Annual pass? Just -blam!- off! Sell it separately so i can see if Black Armory is worth once released. But paying in advance for the whole thing? I know Luke Smith would love me throw money at the screen. But i'm sry to disappoint him, as it's just a middle finger he gets! This company proved too often that it just can't be trusted. If they'd put the same effort into the game by trying to create and improve it for its gamers, rather than for its pathetic streamers in hope that's what sells best, this game could be what it should and wouldn't feel like a job, but actually more like a game that could be fun.

I love the idea but I imagine it'll lock out rewards after clearing it. Would be nice to get non-powerful drops to farm rolls and get replayability.

Love horde modes and anything where I can grind for higher tier rewards. If it can scratch my MOT itch from Warframe I'm all in. Nothing like a good endurance run

Not until you reached max level, and even then they would be very hard for 99% of the player base with only 3 players. Almost sounds like this is a step in the wrong direction, eliminating the ability to have 6 to 9 players in this type of activity. I expect the forums are about to get toxic after launch.

Yeah had some issues with ep early but got the hang of matchmaking after a bit My only concern are scrubs And good lord destiny has scrubs that don't know how to make a pub event heroic let alone ep or bw

You know why it's going to be awesome? Because it's like escalation, not PvP. This means nobody will complain about op supers or weapons.

I definitely like where it’s at right now, but there are still some annoyances to me. As a result, I don’t keep up with what’s coming out too much or until right before it releases. Are these forges basically going to be like a “horde” mode type of thing? If so, I’m excited depending on how involved it is and how long a “match” lasts.

Best part was the offering you get and the new bits of lore from mara each week. Also spamming BB with galanor never gets old.

12 RespostasAlso the weapons in this DLC sound -blam!-ing amazing. A bow that's like thorn. A handheld fusion rifle, I can't even remember the rest but I just remember they sounded amazing.

Weren't the Lost prophecies used in a forge? wasn't the public event type thing they had four rise of iron called archons forge? it seems like the guy that came up with the term sunbreaker was probably in charge of naming this event as well...
