There are tons of posts saying 570+ this 570+ that for last wish. I just want to let everyone know that beating last wish does not require you to be 570+ im at riven as i type this and am with a 550+ team that is more than capable enough to beat this encounter so do not be discouraged by these posts and get out there and raid! The community from what it looks, seems to discourage trying to raid any earlier than 570 because of people at lower lights such as being 550 not doing enough "damage" well from my experience i can tell you ive done more damage then any of my raid buddies that are 10+ power then me all you have to have is the right weapons. As a community i believe we should help the lower light leveled players and ease them into such a hardcore environment and encourage them to try out this amazing raid. I do know that their will be people that will say things such as "but what if they have trouble surviving and or just plain suck." Trust me i get it i know how it feels to sit at a single simple encounter for hours such as kalli even though she is super easy but if someone like that has trouble all you have to do is help them, teach them we are a community and a very " toxic" one at that but i know there are people willing to teach it and learn from ACTUALLY PLAYING IT not everyone can learn the encounter from a simple datto video. I know tons of people that even after watching a guide to it are still confused cause theyve never EXPERIENCED the encounter itself and would like nothing more then to play it and experience it. I know ill get some hate for this and i fully expect it but just hear me out.
LAST WISH IS NOT AS HARD AS PEOPLE MAKE IT OUT TO BE.

If I'm lucky and get 5+ light per week, I'll be ready by mid November to attempt it at 540 light.

2 RespostasMake your own LFG. Problem solved.

8 RespostasNo I’d rather join the 590 plus groups and finish the raid in an hour or less. My view has always been the same, if you make a post, you set the requirements. If someone doesn’t meet those requirements they shouldn’t be interested in the post.

This raid looks interesting. I might give it ago this weekend. Hopefully find a sherpa to show me the raid.

4 Respostas550 is fine for the first 3 encounters (morgeth being the most difficult) but vault becomes a bit of an issue as everything hurts, a lot but its still totally doable at 550. Once you get to riven though, things change. Adds are 590 so 550 isnt goinf to fly. You really need to be closer to 560-565 average amongst the team. Question for ya, did your team of 550, that you were talking so highly of, beat riven?
-
Easy fix, start your own raid team........ It's as simple as that.
-
There are 7 posts in LFGin the last 5 mins that have 0 requirements. It’s not even peak time.
-
4 RespostasIf I’m 580, at the highest the raid is 590, why the hell would anyone want to make it harder for themselves? If you’re 550 etc start your own fireteam and stop bitching about other people’s posts.
-
8 RespostasBeing 550 is plenty, being 540 is plenty, yes you die quicker and yes maybe you will have to do one more phase on kali morgeth abd riven but if you play smart you will be fine
-
But why would I make it difficult for myself by playing with 550+ players when I could be playing with players that are 570+ or maybe even 580+?
-
The silly request raid posts are the minority. People need to stop acting like its some kind of problem.

10 Respostasbeing overleveled DOES NOT INCREASE DMG!! it does nothing.. being underleveled gets you killed. being overleveled does nothing

1 ResponderDon't get better, said to someone when the raid came out that light requirements will rise by 10 a week from 550. Minimum level suggested for raid plus what people expect to grind up in a week. 2 weeks from now it'll be all 600.
-
I bet that 570+ will become quite rare a few days into the reset, more likely to see 580+ and 590+ only. But year overall if you're going in with randoms i'd say that the bare minimum to complete the full raid is 565-570. You can easily do the two first encounters at 540+ though, and that's probably what you want to do if you're around that level instead of wasting your own and others time by struggling through the rest of it. That being said - last week i joined a group for Kalli, was about 550 at that time, so were four others. The last guy was 578 but he had never done the raid before and he was the person who kept messing up and eventually left since he couldn't handle himself. So light is not everything, but it usually helps alot.

4 RespostasPeople have jobs, school, wife, kids and any responsibilities. Some people don't want to spend 5-6hrs repeatedly wiping everytime they want to run a raid. I can say as a person who always try to find groups on lfg there are a lot of groups that require low light level even 540+ or do not have requirements what so ever. If you can't find a team to join you have the option to create one yourself.
-
May be possible but there's no way your doing the heart encounter at that power... Would take way to much damage n die. Just a burden on rest of team, 570+ seems fair
-
3 RespostasFirst I've only gotten the second encounter, haven't beaten it. Ran it last week,2 guys 572, 1 guy 560, 3 guys in the 320's. 2 phased cali, almost 1 phased her. Got to the second phase of the second encounter, basically 3 manning it. The 320 guys were doing zero damage. So far it's been a really good raid hope to enjoy the whole raid this week as my clan has been grinding their asses off. Don't let lfg discourage you, their are always people out their who will help. I'm on xbox and once I beat it and get comfortable with it. My clan is always willing to run people through.
-
People want to get it done with as little wiping as possible. Don’t like what they’re asking for? Make your own post.
-
No one is entitled to get carried through a raid. If people have put in the effort to grind to 570+ they are more than welcome to seek out like minded players for their fireteams. If you don't meet their requirements, or don't want to raid with people who have such requirements. then make your own lfg post. Power level alone doesn't dictate skill level. In sure there are many guardians well below my power who are much better than me at many aspects of the game. However, there's a thing extremely common in the raid, called a "dps check" which is a very simple mechanic that if you don't do enough damage in a period of time, you fail. So going in handicapped by your power level isn't going to help anyone.

1 Responderim light 550 plus. i wont do the raid as long as elisters demand higher light
-
If that’s how you feel, then don’t complain about it as it doesn’t really solve much. Instead, go make posts asking for people 550+ and then go on from there.
-
1 Respondertoo long dude dont rant so much add a paragraph here or there lol I agree though but those people want a smooth and easy ride, they dont want to help new people they want their gear and to be gone. in reality those are the worst types of people to raid with so chill about it, you can start making a difference
-
TL: DR Help people out. Every time I do last wish I don't mind teaching 1 or 2 guys since its easy to carry people through this raid. In every encounter there can be at least 1 person that doesn't have to do anything (even in Riven) and we still will finish.

1 ResponderParagraphs man

15 RespostasThat's what guided raids are for, helping newer players. If they want 570+ then let them look for 570+. Some raiders just want the raid done than having a 550 pull them back due to them dying faster than everyone else.
