Hello all,
We've recently updated the blog with the "State of Destiny 2" article. This details some upcoming changes to Destiny 2, and also states goals we have moving forward not only for the game, but our communication surrounding it.
We're actively monitoring for feedback. Let us know your thoughts. I'll be collecting posts and community feedback to pass along to the development team. Moving forward, we're looking to have more conversations like this.

Hey again all,
We've also uploaded a Podcast to iTunes and Android with commentary from Luke Smith and Mark Noseworthy. If you've given a listen, let us know what you think.
Cheers,

22 RespostasI read the blog, and as someone who has been dissatisfied with the direction the franchise has gone in since TTK, I'm totally unimpressed. If you believe that the barn is on fire, being burned by angry fans with torches and pitchforks, this is NOT the kind of urgent response I would expect. And I think that is the exact kind of response people were hoping for, seeing as Bungie gave up an advertising/promotional livestream event in order to address the community. I don't understand why Bungie needs to add their own flare to things. We ask for optional matchmaking for all modes, and instead, we get guided games. We ask for separation of PVE from PVP (or competitive PVP from the rest of the game), and instead, we get massive changes to core gameplay so that the two can continue to try to "co-exist" without devouring one another. We ask for random rolls back on guns, and they give us guns that keep track of kills and guns with PARTIALLY randomized/rerollable perks. I understand your in a tough spot man, but when I go out to a restaurant and I order a ribeye steak medium rare and you bring me roast duck - medium rare, you are not giving me what I asked for, and I'm certainly not going to be happy with the compromise that my meal was cooked to my order. Bungie simply needs to stop putting their own twist on things and give the community what it wants AND needs at this point, which is the separation of PVP from PVE. If they do this, then ALL that ails the game on the PVE side can be addressed without destroying the "precious" balance of PVP, which appears to be their first and foremost concern, in spite of the fact that most people bought this game for the replayable PVE.
