Honestly I wish i was a fly on the wall for that kill tracker convo, i'd imagine it went something like... Bungobro1: ok guys, the game is losing players by the 1000's, there's serious discontent among the players we've managed to retain so we need to make some major improvements before the game is a barren wasteland. Bungobro2: Well we know they players want improvements to weapons including but not limited to randomly rolled perks so I've got an idea we add a KILL TRACKER to weapons, that way we don't have to balance anything and the moro... players get to feel like they've gotten something new - something random on weapons and everybody's happy. Bungobro1: I see i see but players won't be happy without any power increase. Bungobro2: Fine, we'll give them a random +10 stat boost Bungobro1: Sounds good to me Bungobro2: We're so awesome.
