Basically the reason it completely sucks is the absolute inability to succeed on your own in anything more than a 1v1 unless you have a super or heavy. The time to kill is so long now that it's almost inevitable that you will die if more than one person is fighting you. In D1 you had special weapons that gave you the ability to one shot without heavy or super and let you take on more than one person. The only truly successful way to win unless you're some kind of crucible God is to teamshot, which is hard to do if you're not on a fireteam. This leaves you dying tons of times and feeling like crap even when you win because you feel like you got destroyed after dying so many times.

2 RespostasDelete Crucible, it’s long overdue

not only PvP sucks but the lag on PC is unreal ! only started towards the end of iron banner, 2-4sec before my shot get registered every single match and no it's not my internet !

One word: CHEATERS

1 ResponderI was the last one left in a competition match today against 4. I am not that great at crucible but I timed my super just perfectly and plowed through all four of the opposition to win the match. If I didn’t have my super charged would I have made it? Probably not, but if you use your skills to your advantage there is always a chance. I enjoy the 4v4 but I also enjoyed D1 crucible as well. Adapt and overcome I say !!
-
1 ResponderI hate the crucible for other reasons but you just need to play smarter lol, why are you fighting two people alone? Why are you trying to play D2 like D1 ... when I see two opposing players, I run away because I don't want to die. Adapt.
-
2 RespostasHave you tried to git gud? Honestly team shooting is nothing new.. it’s just easier to wrecked by a clan of 4 people because it’s a tighter group that can communicate, if you’re lone wolfing it you need to stop the Rambo shit and play from cover, pick your battles, adapt.. personal experience
-
2 RespostasIt’s actually relatively easy to beat multiple people by yourself. Get behind them and pick them off behind cover
-
PvP sucks.
-
1 ResponderI play solo everyday and its not that bad.. If u keep playing youll learn to adjust and start using ur teamates to ur advantage
-
I can see why people dislike pvp now, but I personally love how much strategy and coordination matters now. A team that works together very well will find massive success is this game.

5 RespostasIn D1, you didn't even need special weapons to take on 2 players. A decent pulse rifle could do the job. Not in this game. This game, it's impossible to even fight 1v1 most of the time without being finished off by their teammates, while yours are somewhere on the other side of the map.

2 RespostasI'm a filthy casual solo blueberry scrub, I win 1v2's a bunch of times, aim for the head and don't let up, strafe don't stand still. Heck it even possible to win 1v3's but it's rare. Team fire is not a new thing, it happened a lot in D1 also. It just happens more now, because people actually stick together and fight as a team, even as a team of blueberries.

Editado por funkyguy1234: 11/29/2017 6:08:37 PMThe more i play the more i think its do to map layouts. I feel like i have to wait my turn to shoot through a doorway or down a narrow lane. This forces people to group up making solo plays extremely difficult. The excessive amount of cover makes it more difficult to finish people off and your forced in to small spaces with one or two angles to shoot from making it obvious where your going to attack from. Power wepons are stronger than ever in this situation allowing swords/shotguns/rockets to easily mow down 2-4 people with ease and 4v4 means your absolutely -blam!-ed if your team doesn't play like its ToO when your playing against a 3-4 man fireteam. All things considered im still having fun but some games are frustrating as hell.
-
Sure it's difficult to have solo engagements, but I feel the root of the problem is the slower ability cooldowns despite the abilities being significantly weaker than D1 as well as the weapon balance at the moment. Seriously, getting sniped by precision autos and last hope is ridiculous, and Hi cal/explosive rounds are too potent in pvp. Hand cannons are mediocre at best on console, and pulse rifles need some love. Also, not being able to CHOOSE what playlist you want to play sucks. PVP needs more variety.
-
1 Responderinteresting that I am able to succeed in PVP playing solo
-
4 RespostasEhm, since when is the ability to oneshot something in PvP a good thing? I dont know in what universe you guys play, but in my book a slower TTK means you need more skill to actually kill something. The lower the TTK the more a game switches from "skill" to "I saw you first". Where is the fun in that?

19 RespostasThis is priceless. You're complaining cos you can't go into a gunfight with 2 or more people and stick a grenade on them or shotgun them and win? Here's a heads up. You absolutely should not be able to walk up to 2 or more people and win a gun fight. You can if you play smart and shoot from angles or cover, but cheesing supers or grenades or shotguns was the best thing Bungie took out of this game. Honestly some people should read how dumb what they write before hitting post.

3 RespostasEditado por Crow: 11/28/2017 10:36:35 AMI have won many 1v2 but it isnt easy... you are simply complaining about not being overpowered enough to 1v2 easily ?.... you realize its a team based game right ?...

I took out 3v1 the other day with nothing but my guiding star auto rifle. First guy was a quick kill, left me slightly low on health, his buddy comes running in to get the kill on me - blinded him with a smoke bomb, ran around a pillar to reload, gunned him out of the air as he tried to jump over my cover. Third guy was rushing in at the same time, dodged to reload and go invisible and took him out too. This kind of thing happens pretty frequently.

Answer this. How did I suck sooo bad in D1 pvp, but can score several high kill streaks in D2?

I wish I could l upvote this 1,000 times.

1 ResponderI've been having fun. I'm new and all I really do is lone wolf. It seems to make it easier to kill everyone when they are on top of each other especially with a well placed grenade.
-
Editado por BLOODYSTAINS: 11/28/2017 4:13:28 PMTeam shooting is the meta would you rather the alternative ice-breaker & matador 64? Fastest time to kill is with your team mates behind you.

What I find funny is, it is the players that created said play style because they are always overly baby sitting k/d’s. Take away the campers crutch of a sniper rifle, and this is how they play... holding hands and letting other players get killed while they try to clean up over their shoulders. Number of players will not only change the way everyone plays, it will make it worse. But I will take this gameplay over sniper gleams staring down the lanes as soon as a match starts any day. As far as build outs, you can create several combinations that can compliment your play style. If you can not get a win, get a team that helps. Not saying things do not need repaired, but d1 pvp is not the answer either.

6 RespostasThe only way you could do this in D1 was either your two opponents are much worse shots or you caught them on a flank. Both of which are still possible now. People are playing smarter now since there are less people on each team so it is harder to find them alone. In D1 with 6v6 the chaos was such that lone stragglers were more common to find, now the maps are a bit smaller overall and the "meta" was learned quickly to find a buddy and support each other. If I can get some double kills on my own with just my Scathelock it should be possible for most as I still need to "Git Gud!".
