Hate to say it but I think I'm more excited for my snes classic preorder.
D2 looks good and I'll play it but who doesn't love the classics

Nostalgia is a powerful thing, star wars the force awakens is a great example.
-
oh!!! the new ORI is coming out! (good lord does my nephew love watching me play that! "hay Uncle Ed?" - "yeah, buddy?" - "YOURE DOING IT WRONG!")
-
Treasure Adventure World FTMFW? (original one is still free!) Cave Story Deluxe? (also-free!) Dust Elysian Tail? Bastion? Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons? (honestly all of the above things orrta-be playable on an snes/famicom, right?)
-
Nothing wrong with that, Nostalgia is a powerful and worthy beast.
-
The funny part is I still play older stuff as much as I do newer haha. So is it still nostalgia if I played it in the last few years? :)
-
Would rather have new games than replay classics, but that's just me.

Super Metroid!!!
-
Already have it for my full size SNES. Without question in my top 2 all time favourites. It's a tie between Metroid and Metal Warriors
-
Metroid is fantastic, but I've never heard of Metal Warriors. What's it like?

https://youtu.be/PJy3vTr9BtA I mean I always found it hard as balls this guy is a freak of nature

I couldn't find a snes to preorder anywhere here in the US. Currently attempting to forge friendship with game store mgr in hopes to have one saved for me...
-
I got super lucky. My good friend called me and told me eb games had an extremely limited in store pre sale (Canada eh), I'm a mini boss so I just -blam!-ed off from work to preorder it immediately. Otherwise I doubt I'd have one. It'd be the nes classic all over again where I go "meh I'll get one later" and now I'll never have one haha

Excellent!
