Lol yea, these forums represent the majority and minority of destiny players lmao go to any game forum, it's the haters and crybabies who are the loudest and are the majority on the forum. That doesn't reflect the destiny community as a whole. So while you may be in the majority on these forums, you are not in the majority of the destiny players base. But keep telling yourself that. It amuses me.

Editado por Phantom139: 8/8/2017 9:13:40 PMThe failure of both of you to grasp basic statistics gives me great humor and something else to laugh at every day. The means by which to analyze, is to analyze the population from which you are exploring, or in our case, the favor of the community towards the change made to the game. Now, let's just assume for a moment that the forums represent 1% of the total playerbase, and if we're counting the PvE playerbase here, you could call those accurate numbers. So, let's use some nice whole numbers such that it's easy for you to grasp this concept. Let's say that the whole playerbase (Again, demonstration purposes) is one million players, so 1% of that would be 10,000. Now, let's analyze the forum response that has been shown recently. As I pointed out in a prior topic, both the destiny forums and the destiny subreddit exploded out at Bungie in the week following the beta stating that the weapon change was completely unfavorable, the reddit's front page had over 10,000 upvotes, and the participation in the topics here showed a clear majority (~7000) against the weapon system. So, back to our statistics lesson. The random sampling principle works when you sample any number from the population and do not include replacement; we can deduce the population by inferring the results of the sample. So, if 7,000 out of 10,000 are against the new system, I can easily extrapolate that this means that upwards of 70% of the TOTAL playerbase are against this move, regardless of how many people are, or are not on these forums. Please tell me how your 30% fit the "majority" of the playerbase, go ahead... humor me further.
