Sick of the "Adapt" response

I've been playing since Destiny 1 beta and have over 2000 hours into this game. I love it and have some of the best gaming experiences in my life on this game. I love the positive nature of the community and the general passion for the game shown by the community. I have to put this out there though for the other people concerned about the approach Destiny 2 is taking. The response to every single valid complaint people are having is that they need to "adapt". And "get good with primaries", etc.... People argue this with having no knowledge of how the person speaking up plays or their amount of skill. You might be telling a kid that is 3.0 kd to get good with primaries. Maybe he/she just doesn't like that they are forcing this new boring double primary weapon system on to us. Destiny isn't meant to be a vanilla shooter where it's all primary fights. If it becomes that, it's just going to blend in with the other shooters that are hyped up and then die in a couple months. There is a reason so many people stuck around for 3 years in Destiny 1 and that reason is not boring primary fights like they can go get in Call Of Duty. There is a much more complex set of mechanics that make Destiny 1 great. Removing / nerfing all of that for the sake of satisfying the few complainers who don't like dying by special weapons is a problem. Adapt is not the answer. You're allowed to be concerned. This game needs serious tuning changes. I'm still hoping for a huge patch notes list on the differences between what this Beta was and what the launch game will be in September.
