By 0.01% [i]File down a couple of issues from each class[/i] We’re making juggernaut slow you down immensely when using it. It’ll be like being stuck in smoke 24-7. Also we are nerfing spike grenades. Lightning grenades will now take 4 ticks to kill you, in line with pulse grenades. Skip grenades will now do half of the damage they used to. Axion bolt now only tracks for 3 seconds. Reduced stormcaller melee range by half. [i]Fix some issues with a sampler platter of Exotics[/i] We’re nerfing Dark-Drinker! We never intended it to be more useful than raze-lighter, so we’re cutting its damage in half. (I literally can’t think of any more exotics that might remotely need a nerf) [i]Supporting adjustments to Special Ammunition[/i] We’re coming up with new ways to give you less and less ammo in the crucible. Buff sidearms and fusions.[/quote] Simple contextual notes tell you you're making silly assumptions and failing to look at the big picture. While Matador will most likely get nerfed (as it should, it stands out from the rest, which is exactly what they don't want), it is not likely they will touch the others much, if at all. Fusions (who could also use a tiny bit of balancing) are fine how they are and anyone who thinks they need a buff is just not good with them, period. Sidearms can also be very good, but most people cannot take advantage of them since they are semi auto. These could go either way. No. [quote]Lightning grenades will now take 4 ticks to kill you, in line with pulse grenades.[/quote] Lightning, despite how much I have loved them since day one, should most definitely be a THREE tick kill. Pulses are tough to look at because they are very bad on Striker, but very good on Stormcaller with Arc Web. [quote]Skip grenades will now do half of the damage they used to.[/quote] No. If you're upset by how much damage they do, that's because of Shinobu's Vow. They cannot one-shot without that. A proper change would be to have Shinobu's give slightly better tracking, but make Skips do less damage. [quote]Axion bolt now only tracks for 3 seconds.[/quote] Why? Axions are slow, can easily be ran from, shot, or slid under to reduce damage, and still cannot one shot if you LET them hit you. If you have an issue with Axions, you are just bad. [quote]Reduced stormcaller melee range by half.[/quote] Half is extreme, but this is definitely one thing about Stormcaller that desperately needs looking at. We never intended it to be more useful than raze-lighter, so we’re cutting its damage in half.[/quote] They will not touch Dark Drinker. It is working perfectly as intended. Keep in mind that, being a sword, it needs to be within melee range and the fact that it does more damage than Raze Lighter to the least common enemy types in the game (only one of which being feasible) is not an issue. It doesn't do that much more damage, it's actually worse for killing Captains than Raze Lighter still, requires you to use almost all ammo each teleport to be effective, needs you to be in melee range on an enemy that teleports around the map, etc. I can go on about this for a while. It's also likely that you are only thinking about weapons here, which are mostly fine. Exotic ARMOR, however, does have things that need to be looked at (I already mentions Shinobu's Vow, being one).         • YES!!! Autos are getting a buff. Granted it is 1/4 of the greatest buff ever but I'll take what I can get. Take that pulses. Hmmmmph.
