Saw Rogue One Tonight...
Instantly one of the best Star Wars movies. Whoever directed and wrote that needs to direct/write future star wars movies. It had an original story, good characters, a lot of action, and great battle scenes. It introduced those new shadow troopers and showed the more gritty side of star wars. My only complaints are that the.pacing is a bit fast and everything kind of just switches around from one scene to another for the first third of the movie. This most likely due to the rewrites and %40 of it being scrapped and remade. I also felt like the empire could've done a bit more rebel butt kicking. At least stormtroopers can aim in this movie. In all, I'd definitely recommend seeing Rogue One if you haven't yet.

[spoiler]I liked how everyone died at the end. It gave the story more weight, and it made more sense because none of these characters are seen again. Upon further reflection, it's too bad that Donnie Yen's character died. It would've been cool to see him meet Obi Wan and/or Yoda and be trained as a Jedi. (I know this would be impossible, but still...)[/spoiler]

4 RespostasI generally didn't like the movie. At all. There were barely any recognisable characters and no Lightsaber battles. On the other hand, two destroyers smashing into each other is damn cool.

10 Respostas[spoiler]I was highly disappointed by the shadow troopers. They looked so cool, but they all went out like dumb bitches. It may just be me but I felt like the storm troopers were more pathetic in this movie than ever before. I was kinda hoping Donnie Yen's character would be a Jedi, so I was disappointed when he wasn't. That final scene where Vader slaughters the rebels was fantastic, except Vader could've easily force-grabbed the plans while he was flinging around the soldiers. He should've passed it through the door as soon as Vader's lightsaber lit up, then it would've been more believable. But it wouldn't have been as tense, so idk. The plot was great, and it tied into Episode IV very well. It even closed the biggest plot hole in Star Wars (the Death Star's weak-point). [/spoiler] Overall, I thought it was really good, but there were some parts that disappointed me.
