Technically. Atheon is the most powerful. He controls everything (matter, time [b]fūcking EXISTENCE[/b] that is within the boundaries of the vault. This means Oryx couldn't penetrate the vault with his power of "taking". And if Oryx came to try and kill Atheon himself, Atheon could just delet Oryx from existence. Therefor Oryx and his brood, would be wiped from existence, as was Kabr, Praedyth, and Pahanin (mostly).

The Vex themselves admitted they couldn't do anything to defeat Oryx. He is above time itself.

Not true, since he is not in his Throne World, he is immortal and cannot be defeated, so he can enter the Vault and basically keep on coming until Atheon dies

I said "within the boundaries of the vault". If Oryx tried to come and get Atheon physically Atheon would just wave his hand and say "-blam!- you". Then he would delete Oryx.

No. when praedyth and the others were erased. They were nearly erased from time AND existence. This would mean that if Oryx was erased then so would his throne world, Crota, His daughters, Golgoroth, The Dreadnaught, and everything else Oryx-related. This is because he would be erased from time forward and backward. [spoiler]this is just what I think.[/spoiler]

Kabr infused his light into a gorgon that he killed and it made the Aegis. The aegis isn't actually a part of the vault, but a part of Kabr that was left behind to make it possible to survive.
