Instead of making tiers for trials, they decide to take radar and revives off to let the shotgunners camp in a corner the entire match. Good job bungie. Guess the scrubs had to get their flawless somehow

Lol you can't deal with shotguns campers ?
-
Bungie changes the stale gameplay that trials has had for 3 years and makes it slightly for fun to play? I'm just go on the forums and cry because I can't use my normal strats
-
Trials came out with House of Wolves in 2015. It's 2016. Definitely not 3 years.

Dude stfu. Im just not trying to have an average of 15 min long games. When you spawn, you should run. Not set up position. Its a video game and i shouldnt have to spend 15 min looking for the other players only to have the flag spawn and it be a free for all. There are players out there that refuse to enter a gunfight unless they are shooting the person from behind. So these players just run laps with no radar until they get behind someone. Thats just pathetic.
-
As if people didn't already do that crap when there was radar.
-
Really? Thats your response? Its cool, just ignore logic. I guess you dont realize that you can see them camping when you have radar, which allows me to fly around the corner and either grenade melee, or shotgun/melee. Its much easier to kill campers when you have radar.
-
There is no logic. People are going to camp if they want to camp. It's part of playing pvp with dipshits who have no skill. Sorry if it bothers you, but I'm tired of people blaming no radar as a support to camp when that's factually incorrect. You even use the radar to counter it, when I can counter it without a radar. Chuck a grenade (although I wouldn't waste it), or you can easily have your shotgun out and ready to fire immediately turning a corner. Having no radar adds more benefits than negatives. Player communication becomes more important than before, it allows more strategic plays with flanks if people aren't given free information to counter them, instead it comes down to them simply watching their flanks themselves instead if it being spoon fed to them. No radar also is far more rewarding as you're plays are based off instincts and not second guessing yourself so much. Having a radar just leads to snowballing and people staring each other down.
-
100% agree
-
Dude you are straight up wrong. Having no radar enables more camping, period. You cant argue with it, it is as factual as 2+2=4. And my point is that its much easier to kill these campers when you have a radar. You literally cannot offer a different point of view. This is just fact
-
Camping all comes down to the players mindset. I can camp with radar or no radar. Try again. You act like having no radar means you can't combat them when I gave two examples to do so. The funny thing is even with radar, my two examples are exactly what would be used with having a radar lol. It's quite simple, expect an opponent around a corner in a no radar mode, that's multiplayer 101 for you.
-
Dude you are seriously not getting it. I understand how to combat them. My point is that i shouldnt have to roam around a map looking in every corner hoping there is someone there so i didnt waste my grenade. You are seriously challenged in understanding this apparently. Im not arguing that people camp with radar as well. My point is that with no radar, there is more camping, which means longer games. Do you -blam!-ing understand now? Radar was put into the game to protect the flow of combat. Without it, it just makes the game more time consuming.
-
Most MLG/E-sport games really don't back you up on no radar prolonging games and the like. I'll just end this debate and say no radar has far more positives than a radar mode does. I don't run into the issues you do and I guess you're the challenged one (since you're really wanting to go that far) since again, you don't understand multiplayer 101. You're absolutely right, you shouldn't have to deal with campers, but guess what? It's been an issue since games first came out and they'll continue to be an issue in the future, kind of why I've always wanted a game that forces you to move at all times no matter what. I look forward to your next exhilarating response! :/
-
The fact you mentioned mlg in a destiny topic is what ends the debate lmao
-
Seriously think on it, I know destiny isn't and MLG game but it's not about making it an MLG game to begin with. Think on what no radar does to MLG games. The fact that you say no radar prologues game is why I mentioned MLG, cuz if you had a brain you'd see no radar raises the pace up cause again, no ones staring each other down and the game isn't snow balled from the presence of a radar. Think on it......
-
And im done here. You guys that like this trials format will never get bungie to make it permanent. I will get what i want in the end, starting this week lmfao. I win anyways
-
Dude, i dont need to think on it. I rush around the map, and the games where people were camping were very long. It is what it is. No opinion can change what actually happened in real life. In theory, you would be right. However, when people cant be revived, it seems they play more conservative. Neither of us have offered facts to the other. My experience is what it is.
-
So you're admitting that scrubs kicked your ass? Hahaha!
-
We only lost one game where people did that. Its just annoying, and its a bs way to play. When there is no radar, and you pick a different corner to camp in every time, its not hard to beat someone better than you. Most of the time i was able to skip grenade the corners and get them, but its still ridiculous.
-
Because it takes so much skill to use skip grenade...
-
Editado por ThaPhantomGamer: 11/7/2016 4:03:07 PMIt doesnt, not at all. In fact, there isnt really skill involved in the use of any grenades. With skips, i have been able to shadestep out or just outrun them from time to time. I have never been 1 shot by them either. I would love to see a reduction in tracking capability in those as well. Nice try.
-
Uhm no I would never bother to take the time to look at your setup, you clearly said that you use skip grenades to counter shotgunners hiding around corners. Shotguns don't take skill, but neither do skip grenades, I've literally run around 2 corners with those things still chasing me and they manage to kill me.
-
Editado por ThaPhantomGamer: 11/7/2016 4:08:25 PMI mixed up two conversations. Anyways, skip grenades are not as much a problem as sticky grenades. I get killed by far more stickies than any other grenade. Just throw it and run away and take the free kill. Its pretty pathetic
-
That's also true and I run stickies but you still have to line it up right atleast, and you can't just toss it at the ground near someone. They also have very limited tracking. I'm not trying to insult you by saying they don't take skill, just that they don't take any more skill than a shotgun kill does. I've never been a fan of trials but I have played it this weekend and it didn't seem any less fun than the other way which I have only played a few times before. I actually enjoy longer games though, I don't like to just run out and get sniper after 10 seconds, also when you're the last one alive and no one can track you from killing their teamate, it's actually pretty fun to get a sneak attack on the enemy. To each their own, PvP in this game has never been all that appealing to me though.
-
So you had one game where this happened and now there is tons of salt?
-
No, did you read? We only lost one. Most of the matches, however, were very campy and brutally long. Its a terrible format.
